I've moved from College Station many years now, but I didn't realize I never wrote a review for Dr…read more Bond's clinic. He was our veterinarian for many years. His office may be humble, but you can tell he really enjoys his career choice. He used to give one or two vaccines to me for free, or wouldn't charge if I brought both of my cats in at once. Many clinics are so money hungry, and his hospitality is really rare to find. He also is just a nice guy. He loves animals and is very quick to solve issues. I went to Banfield for over a year for my first cat's ringworm and they continuously charged us for expensive sulfur baths that did not work. We paid in the thousands. Dr. Bond said my cat was a little young for a medicine, but he wanted to try it.. and his ringworm was gone for good in under two weeks. The medicine was $20. I brought my other cat in who ran away from home and broke his leg. When the shelter picked him up, the techs there told me that he would need an amputation and to expect about $3k for the cost. I checked other clinics for an estimate and they agreed with the ballpark. Dr. Bond spent about 1 minute with my cat before telling me he was not in pain, and that the leg could stay. He also said if I needed to amputate, it would cost $300-500. He explained that my cat's muscle may atrophy, but if he was walking on it, he saw no reason to take his leg. My cat is the happiest four legged boy now. The most he has wrong is a tiny bit of arthritis, but he runs fast on his broken leg, which is just a tiny bit crooked. He's never had a single issue with it since. He saved both my pets from unnecessary trauma, and me from spending nonstop money on issues that were easily treatable by a true professional. His heart is with his patients, and I can't recommend him enough. We wish we could find a vet like this in Nevada.

Once again, yeah, Jimmy was about to die. They finally found out that he had diabetes. He was on his deathbed. Y'all need to figure out how to take priorities over regular appointments. Like I said, all of my dogs have been there since birth. I'm very sad that I had to move, but I am fully satisfied with Brian animal clinic now. All you had to do was get someone to talk to me. I could've told you what was happening to him. Y'all could've pulled him in taking his glucose levels and figured it out. Regular patient appointments they should be overtaken by real emergencies as they do at Bryan animal clinic. If I have a regular appointment with my dog and there are dogs coming in that are on their death bed I am definitely willing to reschedule.

I chose this veterinary place because I wanted the least stressful death for my 19 year old dog. Going to veterinaries even if they were good was not a fun experience for any of my pets. This mobile veterinary is everything I was hoping it was. The veterinary and an assistant came in the house, made sure my dog was comfortable and proceeded with the euthanasia process. It was still really sad, but they make the best effort to make you feel at ease and your pet. I've gotten recommended this place before and the people who recommended me this place have also have great experiences with them for other services.

I have a long hair Calico named Rosie, who is definitely a grade-A snooty pants. The technicians handled her so gently, gave her lots of love and even brought healthy treats to get her to cooperate. She didn't freak out at all, they were very good with her. When they were done Rosie had been weighed, vaccinated, and even had some blood drawn for testing (which came back before the appointment was over by the way!)... all in our new home. They were awesome. We have definitely found our vet here in town.

First, I was told over the phone that my dog's prescription was ready, only to arrive the next day after work and be met with blank stares. It turned out the prescription was neither ready nor even in stock. The building itself is run-down and feels uncomfortable and a bit unsafe. I requested a copy of my dog's medical records and was told it would take 7 to 10 business days so the vet could "review and update" them. It's been nearly a month now, and despite multiple emails and phone calls, I still haven't received the records. My emails go unanswered, and every time I call, I get conflicting answers and poor customer service. I'm left wondering if this is a receptionist issue or if the vet simply isn't completing their "tasks." At this point, I honestly suspect they may have lost or deleted the records, as both my fiancé and I have repeatedly called without success. I can't take extra time off work just to keep following up on these basic requests. I'm moving to a new area and need these records, especially since one of my dogs is epileptic and needs consistent care. Having to tell a new vet that I've been waiting for nearly a month for records that still haven't arrived is beyond frustrating. Save yourself the time, money, and headache--do not go here.

My dog can be a little shy and nervous, but he warmed up to them quickly. The only thing that's keeping my review from getting 5 stars is the building. I don't expect vet clinics to smell like roses but it wasn't as clean as I'd hope and the smell was horrible. There is also a massive crack in the middle of the floor in the lobby. If they fixed this place up it could be really nice.

It is unfortunate that we cannot review the aspects of practice that really need to be made public. So please do not allow anything I am going to explain reflect on Dr. Amy. We took our dog into the vet for blood work twice, once 10/30/24 and 2/14/25. The problem happened both times. The report went to TVMDL both times the cost was about $268 for a blood chemistry and CBC. Both times the report contained the message "The sample was degraded, clotted, necrotic, or otherwise not suitable for testing. The whole blood sample was clotted. TVMDL is unable to preform the CBC on this specimen." For the 10/30/24 sample they agreed for us to come back in and have more blood drawn to redo the CBC. We did and the report contained the following comment, " . . . Therefore, the automated data should be interpreted with slight caution in this case. Additionally, the RBC morphology could not be fully assessed in this sample. If clinically indicated, repeat CBC on a new sample is recommended." The vet did not comment on this caution. No additional blood testing was done until February. The February testing came in with the same comment, however, we were just told here is the report, Dr. Amy will call you tomorrow. When I called back after reading the same comment, the person, said, "Oh it looks like they put this on all the reports." I called TVMDL and after being talked down to and lectured and threats of denial of future service they finally told me that no indeed they do not put that comment on all reports. The specimen was indeed degraded and the report only includes the blood chemistry testing report. TVMDL is whole other organization that needs an overhaul. But that review will come later. I called HWY 30 vet and spoke to someone and asked for who was incharge of the clinic. They transferred me to a Head Technician. I told Chris Martinez, that my concerns were going to be above his paygrade and asked to speak to someone who assumes responsibility for the entire clinic. That is when I spoke with Barbara Soto, the manager. I told her about not incidents. I also indicated I thought I should not have to pay for delivery or the test if they do not have procedures that ensures the quality of the sample. I do not think you can depend on the results if they have no procedures to properly deal with samples once collected. She called back and said, I could bring my dog for another sample" and they would do the CBC in house and they would do the new analysis for free. It seems to be their lack of procedures and poor quality control caused the problem they should have refunded the money, if for no other reason than, three blood tests in a row were problematic. Two that were unable to be performed because the sample had degraded and one that the results could not be trusted. For whatever reason that was totally unintelligible to me. Why would so much time pass between the blood draw and it getting to the lab?? There is a separate charge for delivering the sample to the lab. Don't they use high quality tubes and appropriate anti-coagulation for blood that is not supposed to be clotted?? At $268 pet parents should be able to count on quality materials and the ability to timely deliver the specimens to the lab.

Dr. Rider was great. He took time to explain everything & recommend possible treatments. One of my cats had a UTI, so we were prescribed medicine after testing. I literally had the office manager tell me since I didn't like that they were making me pay an extra $84 to be seen just to get a refill that I am free to go elsewhere. Then, when I said so you don't care about keeping the customer, she shrugged her shoulders. There are so many other ways this could've been handled today. If you ever have a problem, they will not try to retain you as a customer. There is also very limited parking and today when we showed up for the visit there was a truck blocking the few spots that were available. If they want to actually show they care in the response below and/or comp our visit today, then I will consider changing my review, but after the way I was treated today, I am not expecting much. In addition, knowing time was of the essence as my pet was in pain, they did not call in my prescription leaving me to have to go do everything on my own even though I confirmed on the phone when making the appointment which pharmacy that I use. This makes my pet who is in pain have to wait even longer for her prescription. Calling in the prescription would've been the least they could do. If you ever have any issues, they don't care if they lose you to another vet proving they don't care about the human customer or the animal customer.
