Besides a great kids playground, ample room and picnic tables for large celebrations (the reason I visited twice), including a massive outdoor grill, the same one I personally cooked over 250 hamburgers and probably 200 hot dogs for a family celebration once. Oy... new respect for people that do this for a living. That was a long afternoon. Nice bridges over the river, lots of woods to explore, several toilets (you wanted to know that didn't you?). Managed by the local Lion's Club as I understand it. Call ahead, reserve. Don't know the price but this is a fantastic place to have a large family gathering, exactly the kind that, uh, isn't happening right now. But it will some day! They have plastic bags available if you forgot to bring your own, and plenty of places for you to sit and watch as your pets mingle and play around in the large fenced area. I was surprised to find that this dog park is free to use, but they do have a donation tube.. which is totally worth dropping a few bucks into when you visit to help maintain the property.

Our hike was wonderful and we saw so many things coming to life. Plants, trees, and flowers were starting to bloom. The area is very large and the trail is beautiful. They offer classes during the Spring and Summer, not sure about Winter. All of the classes are about nature. They have a large pavilion for you to have a party or whatever.
