This camp is in a beautiful location in the woods. It's peaceful and you can see a lot of wildlife. There's even a bald eagle that hangs out at the lake. The staff are friendly and are very quick to help. This summer camp was an amazing experience. read more

As I found out, this place is a American christian camp place. I went there with my youth church. They rented it from Americans. I didn't explore the whole place, so I might not give you 100% feedback on it. The Goods: Place looks nice. Well taken care of. Organized. Horseback riding, challenge course. Boys cabins are good looking(not old). Trails. The bads: You have to have a lifeguard in order to swim in lake. Girls complained that their cabins was old(inside). Bad cellphone reception(1 bar or no service at all). Volleyball set up: Sand ground and near lake. That means if you get volley ball out, then most likely it will go in the lake. Wet ball+sand=bad game. Not cool. This camp mostly I didn't enjoy, because I like camps that doesn't have cabins and have tents and being in the wild. One of the best places on earth. Sunset Lake is isolated and quiet. The staff have always been amazing and u have dreamed of working there since my first visit. The camp itself is beautiful. The lake is small but still big enough to do all the water activities. The cabins are very nice. There are many activities including archery, horseback riding, challenge course, crafts, and biking. This is a Christian camp with a Christian atmosphere. There are multiple places of worship that can all bring you much closer to God. Overall, this camp is amazing. read more

My daughter has went here the last two summers and absolutely loves it. Yes it is a Christain camp, but they shouldnt stray you away. My daughter loves praying before meals with her friends she just made. It's awesome. The camp for the youngers is great because they get to try alittle bit of everything. You get to bring them in and get them settled the day of camp, then on the last day you come in for a ceremony where they show you pictures and what they did that week. They also have a picture portal for you to login and see pictures throughout the week. It's great and was the perfect first expierence for our oldest to try camp. Best place to make great Christian summer memories. My daughter went there from when she was old enough to go until she couldn't go do to high school conflicts. She always had counselors who kept her safe and made sure at least one letter made it home. She learned from classes that took her on the water and in the trees. The banana boat always a favorite. She always came home with great stories and always just that much closer to God. The staff at camp is the nurturing and fun. They are inclusive non only to the campers, but amongst the staff too. My child also had special food needs. The kitchen made a special effort to make her feel like she was not missing out. The camp is located on a pretty lake at near Mt Rainier. Cabins for the kids are nice with a rest room and shower in each. Kids stay a week at a time but many stay more than one week. Considering the kids are housed, fed, entertained, and come home happy and closer to Jesus. The value is exceptional. read more

Piece of shit. Just bad. The activities are boring, the bmx track is not kept up and the counselers are sometimes weird as hell. also, the meals they serve are nasty heaps of grease that make you question humanity. Please do NOT go here read more
