I am a Realtor and I just purchased an older home that needed attention. All the floors were stamped concrete with some cracked and uneven. I went to Sunset Flooring and met with Bruce. Bruce came out and measured everything for me, put together a couple different quotes and explained how they would have to level the floors first. You see I was wanting LVP installed and that couldn't be done right overtop the existing floor. This was a labor intensive job no doubt! Bruce helped me pick out some gorgeous Mohawk LVP (it's to die for) and some beautiful carpeting for my three bedrooms. I couldn't be happier!!!! It looks like a new home. The ladies in the office kept me informed as to the installers progress along the way. Pricing was as fair as any flooring company out there, trust me, I shopped around. We needed extra tlc because our vacation rental needed the bedroom carpet replaced, but we're multiple hours away. Sunset Flooring went above and beyond for us, sending us pictures of flooring options, working with our tight timeline between guests departure and arrival to get measurements and install, PLUS they even moved the furniture off and back on to the carpet for pennies on the dollar. I called at least 4 other places and 3 couldn't even help me without coming into the showroom. Sunset flooring will forever be my St George go-to! Thanks again! read more

I've waited a couple of months to write this review in order to be as fair as possible. I'm happy with the LVP we had installed. The finished product looks great. The sales gal was also wonderful. She brought paint samples and helped every step of the way. The bad part--the installation was not good. The workers were there all day for about 5 days. There were only 2 and they worked hard and fast. The problem? They worked too fast. They rushed. They didn't take care of our home or belongings. It felt disrespectful the way they left our home. Nothing was covered to prevent dust/damage. Their tools were carelessly left on our dining room table. Everything was COVERED in dust when they left. If I would have known they were not going to cover stuff I would have bought some plastic wrap and done it. 2 months later and we still have dust in places. This was after we had it professionally cleaned. We also paid $650 to have them move furniture. On the last day they RAN out of the door and I had to call them back in a few times to move stuff back. It seemed to me they were trying to get in as many jobs as possible in as little time as possible. In the end, I felt like they treated our home and belongings carelessly even though we paid them hundreds of extra dollars to move stuff. I'm afraid I will not be back and do not recommend this company. read more

Definitely don't go with this company if you want your project done in a timely manner or done right. I paid my deposit on August 10th and was told it would take 2 weeks... here I am 4 MONTHS later still waiting for the right countertop to be installed. Countless last minute reschedules/no shows, 1 install of the wrong size countertop and 1 install of a broken but glued back together countertop and about 1,000 excuses later I'm beyond ready to ask for a refund and take my money elsewhere. read more

We are so happy with our recent purchase from Sunset Flooring. We have been needing carpet for a few years and finally made the decision to go through the entire house and replace the floors. Bruce came to our home and put together a couple of different bids/options that would work for our house and he was really helpful in the showroom when picking out the floors that would work and compliment our home. We went with his suggestions on the type of floors and colors that would work and got the floors ordered. After about a week we received a call from the store that our floors were in and if that next Friday would work for the install. The installation looks amazing, the color is great, and it almost feels like a new home. That next business day I received a call from Terra to follow up with how the install and new floors looked. We are extremely happy with Sunset Flooring and will tell anyone we know that is looking for new floors to give them a call. read more

I asked Sunset to match a floor they installed a few years ago in a house I just purchased. I wanted the front bedroom (office) to match the living room floor they installed which adjoined by french doors. They ordered the same flooring. When it was delivered, they installed it without looking whether it really matched. It didn't. It was 3 grades lower, loaded with knots and a different stain. So, after much discussion and time, which didn't make me happy, Sunset Floors finally did the right thing. I would actually hire them again because they did their best, learned a lot, and were very honorable in the end. Despite some communication difficulties initially, I think this company really does try. Stay on top of the job. Make sure the installer really sticks around while his workers start the job. Probably true for any company. Bottom line: yes, Sunset Flooring is a good company. read more

Still waiting for shutter installation months and months! The shutters finally arrive and it didn't fit! Reordered and months and months again they keep cancelling installation. Do not work with this company if you want something done as they don't have installers. They have our money so we can't go elsewhere now. read more

First of all, they sent a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER to my house! I was horrified to make the discovery on my own, and am sick to my stomach that this individual was in my home and in close proximity to my child. Furthermore, they never kept their appointments- showing up unannounced or not at all, and not notifying me when they would be late. Their trucks left huge oil spots on my driveway along with several long nails and screws. Very unprofessional; I have zero trust or positive feedback for this company. read more

Very good experience. I don't write reviews very often but noticed their low rating so I thought I would share. 7 days after going into their store I have carpet. The installer came and didn't finish in time so he came back today on Thanksgiving to finish. Happy, nice guy and I volunteered to help him pack carpet around and he refused my help and did it all by himself. Carpet looks great and had a great experience with the office, field measured and the installer were great. read more

Sorry, cant recommend them. No sense of design on how to lay floor tiles or wood boards. Very rough with the baseboards, breaking them and putting holes in the drywall along with pressure marks from the hammers, above the baseboard line. They cut the flooring with their saw over the grass, leaving a pile of plastic floor cuttings - they tried to vacuum up with a cheap battery run vacuum and what a joke. That stuff is still all over the area right outside the front door. Tarps expensive now? End of the job, very disappointed. The installers were from near Centennial Park - Colorado City way, and though they worked for Sunset Flooring for years I'm told, it still seemed like it was their first job. Lots of ambition when coming in the door and lots of excuses when leaving. The Hispanic carpet installer was good though. He had to fix some of what the polygamist guys did wrong. Had to hire an outside painter to patch the holes and paint though. read more
