Very beautiful area. After a brief safety video and briefing, we were given our rafting kit, loaded on buses, and brought up river to the raft slip, this was about a 30 minute trip north west. The raft trip ended across the street from where we started. An easy exit, we got out of the boat, returned our kit, and walked across the road to watch the video, and purchase souvenir photographs. We had an excellent day on the river during our 10 mile trip. My 14 year old son and I did the Zoar Gap trip which took most of the day with an hour break for lunch at a nice riverside picnic ground in the mountains. You can bring your own food( appropriately packaged) if you would like. They store it in a water proof bag and stow it on the raft. If there is even a hint of rain or you just don't want to get completely soaked, bring a three season jacket or rain coat. Also, you will be out on a river dress accordingly. NO open toed shoes! This includes flip- flops. You can rent shoes and wetsuits. If you have any medical issues like allergic reactions etc. I would either bring your own Epi Pen kit and medications with you, and stow it in the water proof bag, or possibly think about finding a less isolated outdoor experience. Be warned, white water rafting can be physically strenuous. The only issue I had was the lunch that was provided. Not that it was bad, it was well packaged and pre-made( not to order). If you have food allergies or don't like mayonnaise bring your own food. Zoar Outdoor is not really able to accommodate food allergies or pickey eaters. Mayonnaise was on every sandwich. I don't know why. They could just have provided packets on the side but they there were none available. My son hates mayonnaise so he only ate the chips, pickle, and cookies provided which got him through the remainder of the trip but not exactly a great lunch. One man we were with had a dairy allergy. I'm pretty sure he was not able to eat any of the food. I'm not sure why he didn't make sure a head of time if he could eat the food.I wish I had known the sandwiches had mayonnaise on them a head of time. Not a huge deal, we got over it. The trip was super fun! I would love to go again and will definitely choose Zoar Outdoor again.

The windshield had to be removed and replaced after the installation of the liner. Lindsey coordinated with the glass company (Roy's) and they got the whole job done in less than 32 hours. They did an outstanding job on the headliner and thoroughly cleaned the interior. They were highly recommended to me by a local Body Shop. AND, I would highly recommend these people to anyone! The only downsides were waiting for an appointment (because they're in big demand), and my wife didn't like the smell of the adhesive after we picked it up. He reached out to…read moreme on having a trolling motor installed on my 2023 Sea Fox 2280 Commander as he was referred by M&M Marine where I recently purchased the boat. He told me he would look into the types of trolling motors that are most commonly installed and would get back to me. He never did this, told me to bring the boat to his location, and that he would install a trolling motor. No estimates from him. He placed the onus on me to tell him the type of trolling motor. After several emails, where I included Sea Fox in the email threads, and also did research on my own and then recommended a product to him, he then refused my business and told me to go elsewhere. I have had boats well over 50 years and this is the worst experience I have ever encountered with a marine business that services boats.

Left because I found Dave McShane rude and condescending when answering my questions. I eventually found a 2019 Sea Fox in CT in excellent shape in spring of 2023 and bought it. But you need to get parts from your State's authorized dealer. Sea Fox will not take orders directly. I got a part last year from a young man on their staff, very nice, no issues. This year I called for a replacement T-top anchor light. Rosa McShane took my order and said she would have it shipped directly to my house, since I'm 70 miles roundtrip from their site, and it was an easy fix. She took my CC info and sent me an email saying it would be 2 weeks. 4 weeks later, no part, so I called and Rosa was 'sorry to hear that and she would talk to Sea Fox in Charleston when they (Sea Fox staff) return on Monday July 7th.' Not being able to go out at night fishing for the past month, and wanting to go out on the boat for the fireworks on July 4th, (hundreds of boats out, so an anchor light is a must, especially with the harbormaster!) I had my marina put in an OEM light on top of the T-top. Very nice, more solid than the original. I called Rosa and told her that, and that I wished to be refunded. She said I would need to get the part first and send it to them before I got a refund, but she would also check and see if Sea Fox sent it to them instead of me. Well I obviously had no part to send back (at my expense!), and would I ever get it? Turns out Sea Fox did send it to McShane Yacht Sales, so they had it, but never called me. I had to call after a month, then they looked around and found it. She said she could overnite it to me (my expense, and I already paid shipping), but I already had the new one. So it was In her possession anyway...but she told me Sea Fox charges them a $20 restocking fee and I'd have to pay that. I asked her why I would need to pay a $20 restock fee for a part I never received, and why wouldn't they be calling Sea Fox and asked for a waiver on it since Sea Fox screwed up, not me, nor McShane YS for that matter. She said she'd have Dave call me. Long story short, Dave McShane said I was being unreasonable fighting over $20. Wasn't he doing the same? Wouldn't he fight for a customer and tell Sea Fox they messed up and the customer, nor he the dealer should pay them $20 for their mistake? I was hoping so. Nope, he told me "You can call Trump!" (???). Today I got a refund check for the part LESS the $20. I'm tempted to go to Small Claims court, where McShane or Sea Fox Boats would also cover the $40.00 filing fee, and you can also get triple damages for an issue not resolved in 30 days. Dave M. told me 'fine, I have a piece of paper here that shows you ordered a Special order part from us'. So what? A light is a 'special order'? Doesn't matter what kind of order it is. I didn't get what i was promised in 2 weeks. He also said 'you can come down here and get your part', and that's when he hung up on me. But I'll just post this review here, and a few other sites as well. Lesson learned. Tom H
