Airplane Mode - Pina Colada vibes
    Imo O.

Another FUN event with the best Yelpers around! As many mentioned, I have passed by this hotel several times and had no idea this beautiful rooftop and restaurant existed inside! The views, the food, the drinks, and the staff were all AMAZING! Thank you so much Jacki and Saint Remy for allowing us to experience this hidden gem that won't be hidden for much longer! We will be spreading the word FAR & WIDE! THANK YOU TO MY FAV CM JARA for putting us on to another amazing spot right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara! Can't wait to come back here again!

Drove all the way from SLO to SB just for this event! Tried many cool drinks like: - Airplane Mode - Spicy Margarita - Firing Squad - Paloma We also got to meet so many cool yelpers in the area and got to share cool events vice versa! We are so lucky to get in this event, thank you to Jara and Imo for curating such a cool event! We also enjoyed the veggie appy with balsamic vinegar and tri tip with chimuchuri! My goodness, we probably had thirds or even fourths of both!

Wow amazing views and chill vibes in the middle of Santa Barbara/Oak Park area off State Street. You can park on the street with a designated driver or walk and get a stiff one pool side and feel like you're at a retro bar in Palm Springs. They have a "Nightcap at nine," menu for that late night until closing time that includes $6 Draft Beer, $10 House Cocktails, $10 Wines by the Glass and $8 Dealer's Choice Cocktail! Snacks and hot meals for takeaway/to go/dining in. Drinks that are so tasty on a hot day that are my faves is the Prosecco with OJ Mimosa and the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita! Cheers! x https://www.saintremysb.com/menu

What a lovely rooftop location to enjoy a 360 degree view of Santa Barbara! It's a beautiful hotel with great ambiance and getaway feeling like a vacation from regular daily life for those of us who get to live here! The charcuterie boards provided had a variety of cheeses, veggies, meats, nuts and dips plus more! The cocktails were fabulous and the yellow looking ones tasted like pina coladas but without the slushiness.

What an awesome spot! I had been to the poolside restaurant downstairs once when it first opened, but never knew about this hidden gem of a patio with 360 views of SB upstairs. It was fun to see everyone's "wow" face when they entered the event. Thanks Jara for finding this amazing venue and treating us to another super fun yelp social hour. Saint Remy showcased creative drinks and delicious tapas. Thanks Jacki for sharing all the deets with us about the venue. Event staff were all so friendly and inviting. Now that I know about this spot, I will definitely be back to catch another sunset soon!

I had no idea this amazing rooftop terrace was ever available downtown. What a gorgeous view and excellent service. Everyone involved in hosting our party was so professional but fun! It was a chilly afternoon but the heat lamps and cozy couches made everyone so comfortable. I enjoyed the chimichurri steak bites and cheese board spread the most. But everything was delicious and fresh. I really loved the unique drink options! A frothy pina colada and three different shooters. All very tasty and appealing to everyone! And an extra special, big thank you to Jara S. for hosting such a wonderful event! It was truly a unique experience.

Every town has its secret places that only a few locals know about. And I've lived here for over 38 years so I was sure I knew all of them. So when I arrived at St. Remy rooftop I was blown away! I'd walked by this location many times never knowing there was such perfect, beautiful location hovering high above the sidewalk! We were treated to the most fabulous cocktails and food that were only outshined by the views from the most wonderful rooftop location in town :-) Thank you so much Yelp SB, this was an epic, eye opening event and we will definitely be back to the St Remy and let all of our friends know how great this place is:-)

I can't say enough about how wonderful this event was. Being a local, it is hard to find new places and activities that "awe" me. Yet, from the moment I walked in the entry and stepped out the elevator, I fell in love with this place. The rooftop area at sunset was the best way to showcase the elegance and simplicity of this new hotel location. Great job on hosting a fun event for Elites to reunite and get to know each other and the staff at the Courtyard. I had the best experience learning about the options for events and resort pass near pool for relaxing in the weekend or for happy hour from the sales director, Jacki. I will be sending locals this way to experience this fantastic place and connecting Jacki to local influencers eager to showcase this place to fellow Central Coasters! Loved it!

Such a chill, fun event!!! Met some wonderful peeps overlooking a beautiful sunset. Staff was so attentive, funny and amazing. Cocktails and tapas hit the stop. I kept talking about how im coming back especially since its open to to the public.

This event was so much fun! I got to mingle with so many yelped from all over the central coast. It was so interesting hearing their experiences and recommendations. The drinks definitely helped loosen everyone up and start the fun discussions. The food was delicious. Im left to this moment, still thinking about the hummus and jam! The variety of drinks were so enticing! I had a great time watching the weather and the view come together and elevate our experience. I can't wait for the next Yelp event in Santa Barbara! The rooftop location really is a great place to get a look into the beach and mountainous surroundings

Glamorous! I felt SO glamorous stepping out onto this rooftop! I would never have known about this perfect spot to watch the sunset and have yummy bites. The veggies with balsamic were so yummy, but for me, steak with chimichurri was the store stopper. The staff was crazy friendly! Constant smiles and wanting to help with something. I was shocked to learn that anyone can visit the rooftop anytime. I'm definitely going for a sunset visit. It's not often you can be rooftop anymore. I can't go soon enough. Thank you SO MUCH, Saint Remy and Jara! What an experience FOR SURE!

This event was so much fun-amazing views, great apps and drinks, and Yelp Elites. The rooftop was incredible and the perfect atmosphere to watch Santa Barbara sunsets. I even met some new Elites; from SLO and Ventura. It's always great to meet others in the Yelp Elite Squad. I am so glad I found another spot to enjoy the outdoors and the service was incredible! Thanks Jara for this lovely night, see you soon at the next event.

    Welcome to the rooftop

What a beautiful gem in the middle of Santa Barbara. Rooftop fabulous views with friends and snacks and drinks from Saint Remy restaurant. Thank you, Jara, Yelp, and Courtyard Santa Barbara regional director Jacki Dawson. Yes, we will help you get the word out to locals and visitors. This rooftop area can hold up to 100 people and is open to the public every day, but also available to book a private event. Contact hotel for more information. The staff is extremely friendly, efficient and welcoming. You can sit and enjoy the views while ordering from the hotel restaurant and bar. Check this out, it is worth the experience. We will be back soon.

I was surprised to learn that Yetz's Bagels owner Daniel Dunietz perfected the recipe through trial and error and an unshaken resolve to bring good bagels to Santa Barbara. Dough was mixed and proofed the night before, so the yeasts had time to make the magic happen. The rolling process was fun, but requires months, even years of practice to perfect the motion in order to get a perfectly shaped bagel in a few seconds. The rolled bagels rested on the wooden boards for a final proof before being boiled in water. The boiled bagels were laid out on traditional burlap covered bagel boards, got a generous sprinkle of toppings, then the bagel along with the board were placed in a hot oven. This allowed the bagels to rise on all sides. Daniel explained that this step is important, but often gets omitted in mass produced bagels. Finally, the bagels were flipped to remove the bagel boards, and the bagels got more time in the oven to finish baking. Of course, all of us had to try a hot bagel with cream cheese on the spot. You can't get anymore fresh than this. Thank you Jara, Imo, Daniel, Carlos, and the rest of the Yetz's staff for creating this memorable event.

We were provided the dough and given a demonstration on how to roll the dough and make the bagels. We made bagels of all sizes; mini bagels, thick bagels, thin bagels, etc. after they were proofed (a step in baking that involves letting yeast dough rest and rise before baking), they were placed in boiling water for less than 2 minutes, then baked for 20-25 minutes. As I had never heard of the place I guessed it was a new business. Well, I guessed wrong. I was surprised to learn the place is celebrating 7 years in business. Before visiting Palm & Boy I checked out the photos on their Yelp page. What a beautiful location! I was like, that doesn't look like Ventura to me, that looks like Santa Barbara, wait, did I sign up for a Santa Barbara event? I checked the address. East Main Street, Ventura. Then I clicked on the map. Ah, the place is in Downtown Ventura. That's why I never heard of Palm & Boy: I really don't spend much time Downtown. For sure, on my own, I would have never have found out about Palm & Boy. So I've gotta say Thank You to Yelp for the invitation to this event! The store is located in a really beautiful courtyard, accessed right off Main Street. It really felt more like Santa Barbara than Ventura to me. Like a Paseo Nuevo vibe. I loved the setting. Attendees were afforded their choice of one drink and one food item off the menu. I decided to try a Chai Latte and an Acai Bowl (the Stoke). I have to say, that was one fantastic Chai Latte. Best chai latte I've had locally. I would definitely hit that again! The Stoke acai bowl was wonderful too. What I liked about it was that it was not overly sweet. In fact, it was rather tart. Like it made you kinda pucker up. That tart! And I really really liked the granola they use in their acai bowls at Palm & Boy. Good stuff! So, yeah, another really great YES event, showcasing a wonderful local business that I had never heard of and most likely never would. Thank You for hosting the event Palm & Boy! I look forward to many future visits. Thank you, too, to Yelp for the invite, and to our CM, Jara S. for putting together another fun event! Mikey C says: Palm & Boy, Five Stars all day!

From cortadito and café de olla to Vietnamese iced coffee, colado, and even Moroccan Coffee each sip transported me to a different corner of the world. And the food? Incredible. I still can't stop thinking about the Cuban sandwich, the croffles were mouthwatering and the chicken sandwich with ají sauce ii will definitely be back for that one. Every bite told a story, and every dish was made with love. What made this event even more special was the heart behind it all. You can feel that Héctor poured his life, travels, and passion into every element of this place. It's rare to find a spot where Vietnamese coffee meets Cuban sandwiches, where cultures blend not just in flavor but in feeling. It was more than a tasting--it was a journey.
