Do not shop at this store. We had a very disappointing experience and believe customers should be…read moreaware. My father went to the store to buy cornflour (makki da atta). The packet was labelled as "makki da atta," but it actually contained corn starch, which is not the same product. When we returned to the store to exchange it for the correct product, instead of providing a full refund or replacement, they still charged him $1.70 for the difference. This is misleading to customers, especially when the product is incorrectly labelled. We are considering reporting the matter to Consumer Affairs so it can be properly investigated. If anyone else has experienced similar issues with incorrectly labelled or misleading products from this store, I encourage you to report it to the appropriate consumer protection authority.

They know their stuff all you need to do is ask. They can tell you all about the advantages of different supplements and products, and tell you when new stuff is coming into stock. You cannot find more friendly people. You can be a complete novice to anything health related and they will help, and find exactly what you need. Yes this place isn't sparkly, and filled with hippy chicks but, those who work here have been running this store since I was kid. They know their stuff so I could care less what the place looks like. I don't go there to be impressed by the decor I go there to get healthy! Over the years they have found many alternatives to prescription medications that were making my mother severely ill. They found things that could potentially help, and did work. They found things in our price range, and have always helped us. Without them who knows what my Mom would currently be experiencing right now. Definitely give this place a chance, and say hi to Andre for me if you see him around!

Anyways, while I was there I was excited to see Blackball Taiwanese Dessert drinks on sale for $5.49 each. I had bought them a few times in the past from a different market and I used to get them for $4.99 each. That market raised the prices and so there's no more $4.99 Blackball drinks anywhere. However, this $5.49 sale that I stumbled across at Pricesmart Foods was the best price I'd seen since the other place stopped selling it for $4.99. I bought a Panda Milk Tea home to share with my daughter. Google told me that the Panda Milk Tea had a mix of grass jelly and pudding in it. I don't think I was able to recognize when I was slurping up pudding. It was kind of all jelly like to me. Very tasty drink though. My daughter and I both enjoyed the milk tea part of this drink. Hope they will have this sale again. We are big fans of bubble tea drinks and it's a nice treat sometimes to be able to just pick some up and bring it home sometimes without having to order, and wait for the drink to be made. Mogu Mogu drinks were on sale 2 for $6.00 which is a pretty good price for that drink, and it's a favourite in our household. I also noticed a sign for Sushi Happy Hour while I was there! After 6pm select sushi items are 25% off! I am intrigued by this offer and really wanna go check it out sometime! This place is a great stop in the neighbourhood for a mix of Western and Asian foods. They carry a lot of the same things that you might find in a Save On Foods, with a lot of the same prices since they are owned by the same people as Save On Foods, but they have a lot more Asian selection than Save On Foods. I havn't really shopped at this Pricesmart Foods very often but with deals like these, maybe I should start shopping there a bit more often!

They have quite a variety of frozen items from desserts, dim sum, soups, and dishes for dinner. Prices were reasonable. I purchased the large seafood dumplings, fish maw with shrimp paste, sticky rice, tapioca pudding dessert, and fried milk. Tried a majority of the items so far except for the taps pudding and was quite happy with everything I got!! I will be going back again to restock soon!

I love this store! The woman is always friendly and answers questions about all of the different…read morefoods. I like to try different flavors and discovering West African food has been my newest adventure. Since I've been back she has added new shelving and products and organized everything very nicely. With the addition of some fresh vegetables for a one stop shop. The store has rustic charm and she always gives my boys a little treat if they are unruly in the store. Most shop keepers give us dirty looks but she is always smiling even when my boys are at their worst. She tells me not to worry as they are just kids.
