I love the director, Sacha, and all of the teachers. You can tell they really care about the kids. I love getting to check the app and see what my child is learning, and see pictures of her day. She comes home every day excited to tell me about the new things she is learning. When I first started taking her to daycare back in January, it was hard for her to adjust after being home with me the past few years as I worked remotely. The teachers were so kind and I would see them comfort her through the window and take extra care to help her acclimate. It helped me transition as well. read more

My 4 year old and 1 year old have been going here for almost a year now. Last year I needed daycare starting the next day and they were able to accommodate me with no hesitation. They have watched my 2 month old baby girl grown into a 1 year old and when I go to pick them up they tell me stories and how they love watching her grow. The entire staff is so friendly. My children attended this location for a few months and prior to attending my two year old was fully potty trained with no accidents. When I would pick him up he would have 2-3 bags of wet clothes because he made several accidents. When I asked they stated they asked him every hr, which according to a licensed day care you are to check 15-30 mins to avoid a child being neglected. They would also never have an incident report or an explanation to why my child would come home with marks on his head or why he came home one day with a burn on his hand. The following day I would ask and they would have a incident report written up for the day prior. The assistant director never knew what was going on in her classes and at times I'd see her yelling at her child in the parking lot. Oh and the burn in my son was from a hot ledge in their room they said they tell the kids not touch. Yes they are asking 2 year old children not to touch a hot ledge......in the room. When I came to the facility early morning and had asked who cared for my child a woman said "that would be me." She immediately started defending herself as to why my son would come daily with 5 accidents. Staying it's his fault and started to curse at me around my children. The assistant director just stood there and allowed this woman to yell at me in front of my children!! When I asked for her name she told me "you should know my name." And covered her name tag. Now I of course took my children out of the facility and asked for a full refund. You know what they gave me? 80 bucks to apologize for the trauma their facility caused onto my children. Oh and when I came back to retrieve my sons medication...they stated they never received his meds. They lost it and instead of taking ownership they claimed I never brought it. I missed days of work since I had to pay for this out of pocket and had to wait for my family to help fund me the money to pay for another one. This family is terrible and upper management does not card for the children and families. I have filed a law suit and I have reached out the BBB. You will not get away with mentally abusing and traumatizing my children. All you thought it was worth was 80 dollars......I did not receive proper care from you establishment and you lost my child's meds and you didn't believe I deserved a full refund?! Don't worry I will be spreading the word to every social media and I will not stop there. I will take this to the news and all forms of social media until you rectify this. read more

Find a better school. When my son at the time was two coming here and he would come home with wet diapers. They would say they would change him. Then they would blame the morning people for not changing him as they just got there. So I started marking his diapers they would leave him in the same diaper all day. My final straw was when I picked him up and the diaper was so full it was sagging to his knees. I went out to the front and pulled his pants down so the director what was still happening and they said they would correct it. It was never corrected. Please don't bring your kids here. read more

Just over I year ago, I found myself in need of a part time daycare for my (then) 18mo. After touring a couple different locations, I was nervous about leaving my kid with anywhere. Then I found this school. From the moment I entered the building I felt welcomed. The director was (and still is) warm, friendly, and so wonderful. What stood out to me as I was touring the facilities was how happy every kid seemed, and how interactive the teachers were. In every room I saw teachers on the floor playing with little ones, laughing with them, and smiling faces on children and adults alike. The last year has just proved it, this is a happy place with happy kids and adults. Everything is always clean, organized, and has a creative flair to it. The assist director is always changing the theme up each month or so. They also are always counting the number of kids, making sure everyone is where they should be, and checking each other's work. For Holidays they have little events that the kids love, including a big Thanksgiving lunch that parents can attend. The food was FANTASTIC. The most praise I can give them is their level of accommodation. They've been there for me and my family when we've need to switch things up, put our second child in temporarily, or need to leave our kids a little long than expected. Since the very first day, my child has been excited to go to school, and now that she's nearing three she begs to go on her off days. I LOVE SUNRISE!!! read more

Sunrise has been so helpful with my two kids, working to make sure they are both happy all day. My four year old drags us out the door in the morning because she doesn't want to miss preschool. She's being given challenging materials to prepare for kindergarden next year. And while my 2 yr old deals with separation anxiety, the staff at Sunrise has gone the extra mile to help him adjust. It is really convenient to have daycare and preschool in the same location. Also, Sunrise has been very accomodating to my unusual work schedule. My son is 4 and has Autism. Needless to say I was hesitant to send him to a preschool. The teachers are super sweet to him, responsible, and caring. I never have to worry about him when he is there. He has never wanted to be away from me for more than 15 minutes, now he doesn't want to leave. I highly recommend this location, your child will be in great hands. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. They say they are family oriented, but they do not care about their families. There staff are free to do as they please in the mornings. I was told by 2 of the teachers that there is a difference between kids and adults when it comes to stopping someone poking someone else in the chest. It is ok for kids to do that even if the other kid does not want that. I would truly consider a different daycare if I was you. It is affordable, but is that worth it? read more

Beware of this place. The staff does not pay attention. My 6 year old (1st grade) son went here on a day when the public schools were closed during winter break. I was able to arrange care here through a backup care benefit that my work provides. All seemed well initially as my son came home talking about how much fun he had. A few days later he asked if he could get a game called "Granny" on the tablet. He said some of the older kids in the school age room at Sunrise were playing this game on a tablet and he was able to play it too. I looked up the game online to read reviews of it and it is basically a game where you are locked up in Granny's house and have to get out before she very graphically and violently kills you. Now months later, he is asking for a game called "Happy Wheels" that he also played at Sunrise. I researched this game and it is seemingly more innocent with a guy riding a bike and you have to get to the end of the level. However, apparently if you don't make it, there is more gory violence and worse yet there is a lot of user uploaded content that includes pornography. How in the world are children allowed to use tablets at a daycare/school unsupervised in this manner?? I'm so angry that my son was exposed to these games and who knows what else. I would never send any child of mine to this place, no matter what age. It's clear the standards are not high. read more

My niece has been going here for about 6 months. I can't count the number of times she has had a dirty diaper when she leaves. Right now it's winter, so she usually also has snot all over her face. Even when we drop her off and specifically ask them to clean her face before we get her, she's still a mess. Every other kid in there is snotty. When we talk to the staff, particularly Alicia, we hear platitudes and promises, but nothing has improved. Changing day care ASAP. read more

Both my daughters just started attending sunrise preschool and I have to say that my daughters never complain when told it time for them to go to sunrise as they did use to before at there previous daycare!! There happy and So am I! They always come home with something new they've learned and the all the staff there is friendly neared ran into a frustrated face. I love this school and so does my daughter who's 3. Literally everyday she's excited to go and always talks about her friends and teacher lol (Ms. Rhonda) Every morning she hugs her teacher. She never cries when we leave unlike the one school we went to before. Very clean, organized, staff is nice and friendly. I also like the curriculum. my 3 children attended the school for over a year however last august on the bus ride from the elementary school to the daycare a student said the driver choked him. when the student fled the bus the driver sent my son after him. When i continued to ask questions about what the status of the teacher would be who was alleged to choke the child the director Kristen asked me and my children to never return to the center. We were forced out of the school in august however in November the director Kristen added false charges to my account and sent it to collections for almost $500 when i called her she said it was only $120 but wouldn't give me an account statement when I showed up to ask about the charges. their corporate office even debited my checking account again and i had to get an entire new account because of it. I had to report them to the state of Arizona DES office for providing false information to the collection agency and charging my accounts without permission. Please be aware of them and the bus driver Ms Lee who was the lady alleged of the bus incident. she is still there, still driving the bus, and still without a bus aid to help hold her accountable read more

We have been with Sunrise Preschool for 2 years now. We started in the 2's and now in the 3's. We are very happy sending our little one there. The staff are all wonderful, greeting you at the door with a smile and the teachers are great! It's a pleasure bringing my child to daycare every day because I feel it is a very safe environment where the teachers are going to take great care. I always find the school clean as well. I'm never had any problems here at Sunrise Preschool. Great job you guys! You're providing a great place for our children stay which is comforting to me as a Mom while I'm at work!
