We stopped here for breakfast while on our way to Algonquin. We were a party of four and tried different things on the menu. Everything tasted good. The service was delightful. Everyone was happy with their breakfast. And the restaurant was full to the capacity, mostly locals, which is always a good thing. Locals know little gems in their city, always flock where they are treated nicely and fed well. I would love to visit them again, when I'm in the area. read more

I haven't been here for a while so I'm going off of memory lol but I can't rave enough about sunrise griddle because it's delicious and because of their gluten free options. As someone with celiac it's still sometimes hard to find a breakfast/brunch place with gluten free options. They have a whole separate gluten free menu!! *angels singing* This is the reason I like them more than other breakfast joints. They have more than one choice of bread too, waffles, crepes, french toast, flatbread. I have yet to try these but just the thought of it excites me! If I get around to trying I'll update my review but I can imagine they'll be good! I've only tried the gluten free all day breakfast but it was amazing enough to write this review and keep me coming back for more. Their customer service is amazing-they're really knowledgeable and cautious when it comes to not cross contaminating anything. The wait time isn't bad, the prices are reasonable for the portion. The food is so so delicious- they've never made a mistake and it's always hot and fresh! Only thing is it's a bit small inside and if you aren't dining in you may have to wait outside for your food if it's busy. Superb breakfast/brunch from an extensive menu--it took us a long time to decide. We had I a butter chicken omelette, fish and chips and a vegetarian crepe. Gluten free options available too. Great service along with great food. Easy to find off 401. We're all full and happy ready for our afternoon drive. read more

I had ordered a breakfast delivery from Sunrise on UberEATS for my mom on Mother's Day, as I couldn't be with her. UberEATS was terrible and cancelled the order 20 mins after the food was prepared, because they couldn't commit a driver. I called the Sunrise restaurant and the manager/owner took care of everything and even had another customer go and deliver it for me. Absolutely saved the day and went above and beyond. If you want a fantastic breakfast place, look no further. Sunrise Griddle is hands down the best breakfast place around. The owner/servers are so pleasant and the food is perfect breakfast fare. The menu has a good selection so that everyone can find something they like and no matter what I've tried on the menu, it was delicious. My favourite part of Sunrise Griddle is that they actually listen to how you would like your eggs cooked and actually know how to cook them! I've been really impressed every time I've eaten there and can't recommend them enough. There's a reason they've been in business over 8 years. read more

Very Yummy. I love the kids meals they give as it comes with fruit and a treat. The curry is amazing and the Roti they serve with it is to die for. Their omelettes are amazing as well. I haven't had a meal I wasn't satisfy with from this place. And it's very very affordable read more

Love this place. The service is friendly and quick. The waitresses are attentive and the food is good! Prices are reasonable too :)
