All the tables seated had their food, and there was a couple in front of us ordering. We ordered the kids ham & cheese with fruit cup, build your own ham & cheese sandwich, and the chicken tzatziki wrap. $50 & over 25 minutes later we were HIGHLY disappointed. My order was brought out and was wrong, when I told the lady that it was wrong, she asked me if I was sure, because they made it how I ordered it...... well considering I don't eat bacon & there was bacon on the sandwich, I am SURE it is not what I ordered. When I told her I didn't eat bacon, she said let me check the ticket for how you ordered, after checking she came back and agreed that it was wrong. No big deal. She then returns with another sandwich, WHICH IS STILL WRONG AND NOT MADE HOW I ORDERED IT! They have a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, wrap & po'boys to choose from along with sides. They also have a counter with some house made ready to go food. I even saw a big pot of gumbo. I got a TURKEY BLT with no cheese. It comes on a fresh jalapeño cheddar bread that was not spicy - just very good. The turkey was shaved turkey with a healthy topping of bacon & lettuce. The BLT spread seems like a mayo spread with chopped bacon, tomato, & herbs. It was really light and good. My husband loved his SHRIMP PO BOY. He said the breading on the shrimp was delicious & bread was good. Our only regret was not getting fries or onion rings to try. There are several tables to eat inside and a couple right out front. There appeared to be several locals coming in to pick up food while I was waiting about 10-15 minutes for our food. I was upset with myself for leaving it, but basically had to write it off as a probable loss. Well, the next day, the owner's husband called me, offering to send my charger through the mail! I felt silly for not thinking of this, but even more, I was so pleasantly surprised by these people's willingness to go way above and beyond for a one-time customer just passing through. He even offered to pay my shipping and let me pay the amount when he knew what that would be. How wonderfully refreshing these rare interactions are in which people go out of their way to do something nice and even go out on a limb of trust for a stranger. The restaurant's floor was uneven, with soft spots and broken tiles to the extent that it presents a hazard for elderly people. The bathroom had both black mold and an abundance of spider webs visible. The air conditioning was not able to keep up with the summer weather. It was unpleasantly warm in the dining area.
