It's total mayhem that I dpn't want to be in, unless everyone is wearing the colors that I support, or the jerseys that represent my favorite teams as well. It is one of the more respectable sports bars since their dozens of HD screens actually stream live events, plus other interesting sports-related stuff. Now, wouldn't it be fun if everyone gets into the sporting spirit and just have a place where they could catch a game? The food, though, needs some work .The price points are a bit too expensive for beer grub that you could get way cheaper somewhere else. The flatbread pizzas are good, though the texture of the crust could be improved as it could get tough as it cools. I have tried the pork sliders which come in threes, and the entire thing is still too "bitin". I would give mad props to the other burgers, though, because they are perfect as they are. If only they'd be a little cheaper... All in all, their servings are a bit small. I'm used to overwhelmingly huge servings in sports bars, which actually make it perfect for sharing with friends. My opinion of sports bar or sports diner food is something that could stay on the table for hours without turning soggy or limp. It should also be large enough to feed a brawny man like me. Now, that could be an unfair statement, since I didn't eat anything the whole day during my visit. Recently, I went back when the opening day euphoria has faded, yet the place is still really full - a testament that people actually love the feel, the ambience and the food.

My sister's medium boneless ribeye came out more rare than my medium rare and she finally had to settle for ribs! Which were actually edible. Biggest problem was the cutlery! The serrated steak knives were so dull and bent, you couldn't even cut a tender steak if you got one. If you can't even give your customers a decent knife, don't complain when they send back a steak. I give the manager credit for apologizing and doing what she could but Expats beware. If you're craving a good steak, save your $ and go to Wolfgang's. I understand that things are different here in the PI. I'm amazed that there is so much variety among restaurants. But it is not the fault of the locals when the restaurant company gives them cheap tools and products just to cut costs! Bad cooking is something else, though. A horrible experience at a Mesa restaurant actually made my wife go back in the kitchen and show the chef in training how to make adobo! Overall, I love the PI and the local cuisine. I think I'll stick to the chain restaurants that I know for certain are consistent.

Got there right around 7:30, snagged a nice window table with morning light pouring in, and dove straight into the spread. They had this killer lineup--garlic rice, longganisa that was juicy and not too sweet, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy danggit, and some really good tapa that was tender and full of flavor. The free-flowing coffee kept coming without me even asking, which was clutch. Everything tasted fresh, nothing felt like it was sitting out too long, and the vibe inside is so chill and homey, like you're eating at a friend's place but better. Left feeling full, happy, and already plotting my next visit to try their all-day menu--heard the bibimbap and pancakes are next-level. Solid five stars, hands down.

They have a breakfast buffet every Friday to Sunday which starts at 7 am and ends at 10 am. They don't have a lavish spread of items on the buffet to choose from, but they do have just the right amount of variety to keep your meal from becoming a dull repetition of viands. From my experience, they had breakfast items such as tocino, scrambled eggs, tapa, and fish fillet. They change the choices once in a while, and they have free-flowing coffee as part of the package!! So be early! If you miss the buffet, don't worry! They have lots of a la carte meals that will satisfy you as much as their buffet will.

I consider Buffalo wings to be one of my favorite foods, so when someone declares this place to be one of the best wings in town, I had to find out for myself. Frankie's set-up is like the typical wings diner: homey and pleasantly cluttered. I had the garlic parmesan as recommended by the waiter, and the Frankie's Classic Buffalo. As it was the one flavor that took the restaurant's name as its title, the Frankie's classic was definitely the better order of the two. Everything I've been hearing about the place was right; this might be the best Buffalo wings place in the city! The Frankie's classic is a masterpiece, I don't know how many kinds of Buffalo wings I've tried in my life, but this time I think I've found the perfect original no frills wings.

Among your list of happy food, there would be items that make you happier more than the others. For…read moreme, this would be Buffalo wings. Going further, some places would inevitably prepare the dish better than most. To me, this is Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings. I usually head to Frankie's after a night run. This could get as late as midnight. The place is open until 2 am, and by this time the horrible parking situation at the City Golf Compound would already be more manageable. (Of course, provided it's a not a weekend.) I always get the Classic Buffalo (spicy) with blue cheese dip, and ask for more blue cheese dips. (They charge extra). I like the chicken because of the way the skin has been cooked to a crisp, all the while keeping the meat rather tender; I think it's breaded. The sauce is spicy yet with just the right bite, meaning there is a dimension to the flavor and not just plain crazy-fiery. Like, I can still taste the butter and the vinegar all coming nicely together with the one-two punch of the hot sauce. Oh-yeah! The best part is you don't even have to worry about getting your hands dirty because they give away disposable gloves. To be honest, I don't really use it since I am used to working with utensils in dissecting my chicken, but I just think it's rather thoughtful of them. As my personal motto goes: it's the useless stuff that builds character.

The ribs, HARD corn on the cob and toast were served on a small platter. It was difficult separating the corn kernels from the cob using the butter knife. The Fish and Chips with vinegar. The "London" style came with mayo. The chips were french fry sized. When we asked for the vinegar, the same male waiter said "in a moment". The rest had almost worked halfway their sausage plate and ribs and the moment took more than four minutes. We approached the waiter who was picking up the order of rice for another table and again he said nonchalantly, "in a moment", squeezed his way in front and bumping into me trying to go across the counter. I told him, "could you not walk behind me" as the manager was handing the apple cider vinegar container. The waiter said "pacencia na lang" - I responded, I have no patience if I have to wait for service when I was the first customer on the floor with everyone already served. I MUST SAY, STAY AWAY FROM RACK'S for your safety ane peace of mind. The manager just watched and said nothing. Check the pictures of flying hard corn kernels.
