I was dealing with the owner "Matt" problem with my new purchase tires and rims that I paid over $2300. Based on the reviews I was expecting really friendly service and honest people, someone to tell you all the bs and promisses. Unfortunately, I experienced none of these things. They weren't rude per-se but Matt can be very polite but you should never trust someone with that sort of service because I can assure you quite a few red flags went out. I HATE this attitude of shops and avoiding it was the reason I ultimately chose this shop. It was really frustrating to be treated this way. After I got my car back and $2300 out of pocket the rims caps were missing and was promised that it will take no more than couple of days. Honesty is the foundation of the business success. Customers are the bread and butter for there success. I will be taking my business somewhere else and would never recommend this awful auto shop to anyone.

I have been a client of Roy Rump & Sons for about 4 years now and each time I've needed them, I was made to feel welcome by both the front-desk folks and the mechanical technicians. They explain all repairs clearly and with patience. They always provide as accurate an estimate as possible and, if they diagnose an issue and discover it was a simpler fix than they thought at the time, they gladly tell me that it will not cost as much to fix and that kind of honesty is why I will never go anywhere else. They always send me reports with digital photos and videos of the work along with their recommendations to keep my SUV in good working condition. There in only one little drawback... because they are so popular for all the things I mentioned, they are very busy a lot of the time and it can affect how soon they can book an appointment with you but, it is always worth the wait. I can't say enough great things about this Garage. Don't waste your time or your money elsewhere. Cynthia F.

I notice 2 horrible reviews her on yelp. On google they have a near perfect score. In my opinion, the two reviews don't hold water. I asked him verify my AC to see if it was an issue with the compressor that needs replacing or if it could be fixed. Instead of just verifying he said he "fixed it" and asked me for 50$. I stupidly gave him the money before checking the work. I told him that the air wasn't cold at all, it was warm as opposed to hot. He said it would cost me 200$ to fix it because he has to refill the whole thing. I told him I had no problem paying the 200$ if it'll be fixed as I wanted from the start.. I said I didn't pay 50$ for warm air instead of hot air so please include this as part of the "real total" to get it fixed. He refused, argues and said I'll have to pay 200$ separately. Will never come back here again and do not recommend this place to anyone who would like honest work, where they can trust someone with their car and money. Learn to at least speak English OR French... and don't steal people's money by doing something that they never asked for and still not fixing the issue. This is unacceptable.

I've been told on a number of occasions that I would get a phone call when work is done, but I get no call. Not really an issue for me, but I'm pretty sure my boss doesn't appreciate paying me to sit around for 4 hours. Perhaps Frisby treats its private customers differently than they do the individuals who drive fleet vehicles, but in my mind, a customer is a customer - whether I pay or my boss pays. My most recent experience has made up my mind about Frisby Tire; I will not be bringing my personal vehicle to get new tires or any sort of service done and I will definitely not be recommending them.

While…read moredriving to the shop I noticed my car making a squealing noise from the front suspension so I asked the owner Mohamad Zeitoun to take care of it. I also asked him to spray a thick layer of undercoating to help lubricate all components after a rough Canadian winter. As his employee Hamid was working on my vehicle I noticed my tires were still on the vehicle, this is bad practice as you don't want the spray to get all over your rims (which it did), so I asked him to take them down. He only took one down and continued spraying for about 10 seconds. He then started lowering the vehicle when I stopped him and pointed out a huge section (rear axle) which was untouched and I asked him to spray it. He did a poor job to say the least. After lowering my vehicle I decided to do a quick visual check when I noticed that he missed the front struts which is what's causing the noise to begin with. I asked the owner Mohamad to have him spray it and paid him the $130 he asked for. Before leaving the owner informed me that the noise will be gone after driving a few miles. I paid and drove home with a noisy car. The next morning I decided to go for a drive to help get all the parts lubricated and the vehicle was still making a very loud noise every time I move the car or even turn the wheel, even while idling. I did some research and came across a couple of websites which teach you how to get rid of this exact noise yourself easily by lubricating only the necessary parts (ball joints) using the zerk or a needle which is inserted from the top of the ball joint. I drove back to the shop to show the owner the video I found online and ask him why he didn't fix it properly the day before. He said the best course of action would be to replace the control arm I had just purchased before winter. I informed him that this was not necessary, that the car drives absolutely fine at speeds of 130km/h and that it's simply a matter of lubricating the inside of the ball joints using the zerk or a needle which is inserted from the top of the ball joint as shown on the video. He started saying things like this is a "tire shop" and that since he rarely does that type of work his brother next door would be the one to get my vehicle fixed since he has the grease gun. He then told me that at the end of the day, lubricating the ball joints is something that he will not be doing and that he really didn't care. His employees are not properly trained and I'm sure none of them have their licence. I do not appreciate this business trying to sell me a part which was not in need of replacement but only needed servicing. This is common knowledge among mechanics, that even backyard mechanics on YouTube are teaching their fellow followers to save them money and here is this man trying to take advantage of me in this situation. Despicable, especially during these stressful times. Not only that, I never received an invoice for the $130 I paid to have these services completed even though I asked for one multiple times at his shop as well as over the phone and via text message. There were four other witnesses inside the waiting are at the time who heard and saw everything. He also has cameras and I recorded entire conversation. I will attach photos which were taken after the employee was finished that display dry, uncoated metal where it needed lubrication most (front struts). He then sent me a text message (see photos) with such attitude. This man has absolutely no respect for his customers.
