She came up with every excuse she could and made it a hostile environment to force my 86 year old bed and chair ridden geriatric patient out. She complained to me how she didn't get enough money for the room and I believe that was the reason for why she did what she did to my mother. They won't tell you about last year, when their water sprinklers ran for 24 hours, and when called, they claimed they don't have a maintenance crew, after not answering the phone for hours. Basically left the caregivers to figure out what to do. When one caregiver didn't bother showing up, one of the managers came and stayed with my aunt but did nothing to help her. Guess they didn't want to lose out on billing 6 hours @$25 per hour. Where does one find caregivers who are trained in how to help a patient, who actually want to help a patient, and who are consistent without the agency sending different people because of turnover? One so called caregiver actually yelled at my aunt because my aunt didn't have bottled water at her house. Good thing I wasn't there as I would have booted her out the door! Wish family could be there 24/7 but all of us work. Caring senior service deserves a zero rating.

The manager bullies the residents, the food is HORRIBLE, needed repairs (air conditioning and plumbing) are ignored, and the weekly apartment cleaning is sub-par (when we moved my dad out, we realized just how incredibly filthy his apartment was). My dad suggested changes, was vocal about needed changes in the service he was paying for and was rewarded with a termination of his rental agreement while he was suffering from pneumonia. Solstice Senior Living corporate was also made aware of these circumstances, on several occasions, all of which were ignored. My dad has moved to his own little house and is much happier! Do not subject anyone you care about to the abusive treatment of Solstice Senior Living.
