We had to put my husband in foster care because of the Parkinson's and dementia that had given us no choice but to have someone to help us with his day to day caring for . Omar being a man has the strength to assist him and was able to take him on daily activities that we no longer could do., Ciinthyas cooking skills!! wow! always had prepared delicious ,nutritious meals when it got closer to his last few days they made him comfortable and would even go beyond what Hospice recommended as to make his final days restful .. Omar and Cinthya I will forever be thankful and greatful to the beautiful caring people that you both are .... May God continue to bless you with health ,strength and the love that you so give to your patients ....

Let me give you an example, Norma Bujanda would complain my mother used too much electricity. My mother had one night stand light, a tv and a computer with a mini fridge in her room. The electric she used was about 8 dollars/month. Norma Bujanda would go into my mothers room and yell at her, berating her to the point my mom had to cover her ears with her hands and then started crying. APS was called multiple times. She came up with every excuse she could and made it a hostile environment to force my 86 year old bed and chair ridden geriatric patient out. She complained to me how she didn't get enough money for the room and I believe that was the reason for why she did what she did to my mother. Norma Bujanda comes across as this nice caring lady, in fact in my opinion she is the exact opposite.

The people could not be more friendly or helpful, bending over backwards to serve my every need, even my special dietary issues. I vibrant Physical Therapy program that worked around my dialysis schedule but still got me back on my feet and mobile again in the time I had set a goal for. They offered to do my laundry during my stay. They had several shower options as I progressed that I really appreciated. And every person I met was super engaging and seemed genuinely concerned about my well being during my stay. Inviting me to religious services, of which they hold one daily, of various religions depending on the day. A "game" room with bingo and other engaging games and group activities, to get you out of the room and out of the bed. A nurse always on duty, to talk to or get meds. And they even set a daily morning and evening med schedule and administered my meds in a timely manner, on schedule to help me heal and keep me in good health. They also provided me rides to and from my dialysis treatments 3 times a week. And they were CONSTANTLY cleaning, my room, the hall, you Name it... very sanitary. Every the night time nurse and CNA's check in you every few hours just to make SURE you're "OK" in your room. If I EVER have to go back into a situation where I need rehab or an extended stay with nursing care again, I will definitely return to Pebble Creek Nursing Center. Their staff is off the charts !!!

While they do offer nice amenities and grounds the staff is highly unprofessional. Especially…read moretowards military personnel, we received our orders to leave and were told on the first day of us even looking into this place by staff at minimum it was a 15 day notice. However they told us it was sixty days since they changed it in the newly updated lease when us and a bunch of other military members were leaving.. suspicious. We had at least given them a thirty day, and they refused to even prorate the rent. Yes I know they are not obligated to, but it seems fishy that while they can't charge military for 'breaking the lease' they will charge you the full amount even if you're staying three days into the month. Then there was the utilities, they said we were responsible for the entire month (when staff intentionally leaves the lights on in the apartment all day- as seen with other tenants) we were informed per my husbands higher ups to change our water and electric since we wouldn't be in the state anymore. They then added a bunch of fees saying we didn't pay the water bill from the month prior.. when we paid it with our rent like we always do. Anyways got charged four separate charges totaling to about $200 The apartment itself is nice, technically a bit outdated for the amount they are asking for, the dishwasher had a smell to it, the garbage disposal was old and stank, cracks and chips everywhere. Not to mention how thin the floor our between each level (we were the first floor) our neighbor upstairs with her two huskies were insanely louder than normal. I shouldn't be able to hear where exactly in her apartment she is and what she's doing. The patio was a nightmare because since she didn't use hers the pigeons would nest there and no matter how many times I cleaned or tried to prevent it.. our patio was filled with dried pigeon poop and cat urine from the strays marking everything the next day... I couldn't be out there for a hour without some falling through the boards of the patio upstairs. The faculty members are nice.. however they are lazy. The only ones who seem to be actually working the entire time are the older gentleman and the women who clean the apartments. But the maintenance men are lazy, they will sit in the shed all day and not do the requests and then just change them as done if they don't want to do it. Our dryer was smelling off from the first wash and I put in a request and I saw all the lint buildup, three times I put in the request for nothing to be done. Any other requests even simple ones would take forever, when our ac went down I specified it as a emergency because of my newborn with it being too hot in the apartment and I had to physically go down there on the second day for the guy to come and fix it in five minutes. Other friends of ours still haven't got things fixed from the first day they moved in and put it down. They're rather be out there in the shed or washing their cars than to be fixing the property. When we first moved in I loved the place until you looked closely, it was giving the typical apartment fix, painting over anything that was wrong, our towel holder wasn't even fastened into the wall it was just placed in the holes. The floors were sticky and I had to physically scrub them to get the stains out, the dog park was just dirt and old rusty equipment.. don't even get me started on the owners! Beware of the man with two smaller dogs and a boxer that lives near them, his boxer will bite you! And the man will just laugh it off! The main pool was out of service while the club house was being fixed, I wouldn't go into that pool for at least a month.. they stopped cleaning it after awhile and I'm sure they are going to shock the hell out of that thing! Not to mention the fact that volleyball court is completely covered in cat poop now! The park is so depressing because it's so high off the ground I can't even take my daughter there without being worried she'd fall from so high! It shouldn't be at least two to three feet off the ground. Not to mention the sprinklers all hit it so it's flooded most of the time. They charge you for parking if you want a covered spot get half the people if not all that park there never even pay the fee, you get charged for trash pickup when they can't even bother to clean all of the hallways and walkways. I've seen tenants physically clean them themselves because they are tired of it, people don't pick up their dog shit and don't get fined for it. The dogs are off leash and when complaining to management they say to send a picture but won't do anything about it unless you know specifically where they live. The pools are dirty even though they are supposed to clean them everyday with the net but won't because maintenance is lazy, the gates are broken half the time and remain open so there's no safety with that it's a mess in disguise!

While all of the other residents were dressed daily, they never took our mother out of her hospital gown even though we had 8 outfits available to staff. Instead, she was escorted to Rosary, physical therapy... everything in her hospital gown. We asked for a care team meeting so we could address issues like bathroom cleanliness, her medication, goals, dressing, physical therapy, speech therapy, hydration. Everything was forgotten by the very next day and they even went as far as saying that an issue we were concerned about that day wasn't agreed upon in the meeting the preceding day. They even disclosed information that we weren't aware of from WBAMC (a cancer concern)... not to inform us but to leverage their position against us. The staff were always immediately on the defensive whenever we raised a concern in our mother's care. Not good people and no way to run a care center. We moved our mother to another facility and, on the way there she said "You saved me! God bless you for saving me!". Broke our hearts. Never again and will never recommend. I wonder if anyone else has noticed that many of the one very reputable care centers in El Paso have declined drastically post-COVID.
