The second time there was a very long delay before they came back to do the actual repair. The real problem however was when I used them for plumbing issues. I had a faucet replaced. It took several visits and long delays between the visits. I learned that when I set the appointments with the company, the plumber doing the work was only learning of the appointments at the last minute. That resulted in me expecting a plumber that never showed up. Because the job did eventually get done, I used them again for the installation of a bidet at the condo owned by my daughters. Again there was a lot of scheduling and rescheduling. Appointments I had made, were only being relayed to the plumber at the last minute resulting in the appointments having to be rescheduled. Just after it was finally installed, the toilet stopped working. Again, appointments were made, not kept, rescheduled and we learned the plumber again had not been told of the appointment at all and again we had to reschedule. This had been going on for weeks. Finally, as of today, I told them I was done. Hopefully the new company I am using is better run than this place.

They get the job done efficiently and do a solid job of cleanup. They even had to dig up a bush in my yard which they took with them. No mess afterwards. In the middle of my installation my air conditioner stopped working so I called to see if the problem was related to their installation. Jaron, the owner, came out and inspected the generator, my breaker box and the wiring and found no problems. He went one step further and discovered a clog in my air conditioner. He then proceeded to climb the ladder to use my shop vac to get all of the water out of the pan. It took him four trips up the ladder. Then he went outside to suction the clog out of the air conditioner system. At a very difficult time for me my angel, Jaron, rescued me from being unbearably hot all evening when my air-conditioning company never even called me back. Jaron, you have a customer for life! Hire them!

My experience with Jorge from GC American Air left me extremely disappointed. I felt Jorge tried to…read moretake advantage of the situation by providing a quote of almost $1000 to replace an outdoor AC blower motor. To make matters worse, he mentioned that if I decided to postpone the repair until the next day, the cost would somehow decrease to around $800. This seemed highly suspicious, especially considering the fact that the part was still under warranty and I would have only been responsible for covering the labor charges. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and declined his offer. As it turns out, the actual cost of the repair turned out to be a mere $225. The significant difference between the initial quote and the actual cost was truly shocking and disheartening. It was clear evidence of the company's dishonesty and attempt to take advantage of customers like myself. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with Jorge's lack of transparency and integrity. It is incredibly important for businesses to be honest and ethical in their operations, and regrettably, this company failed to uphold those values. Update: The response from Jorge regarding my review makes matters worse. He denies ever going to my property and misrepresents the circumstances (there was no other AC company that worked on this job - Jorge was the 1st one to come out). Jorge lacks integrity and is extremely dishonest. See pictures attached for proof that he was at my property. Stay way from this company. Just be honest Jorge and don't rip people off. I know you need to make a living as we all do. But be fair.
