It's not the cleanliness, because the two pumps are both pretty clean. It's certainly not the employees, because the gentleman in the store tonight was very friendly. It's the location - this is located on the hypotenuse of a three-light intersection. I'm not clear on whether I have to wait for the opposite angle to turn green before I can go or not. But it makes getting out a little frustrating, particularly since you have a small space to work with. The station and attached shop also seem to change names frequently, but they are pretty consistent on being affordable no matter what name is on the pump.

The reason I am writing this review was that I stepped into the store and asked the man behind the counter to call 911. He refused, I mean absolutely refused even after I explained that it was for the man who fell off of his bike and couldn't get up on the store property. I will never shop here again because of this and urge everyone else to also not shop here. If someone is so heartless that they won't call 911 to help a poor man on the ground then they don't deserve the business.

The station itself is pretty clean, and have a wider variety on snacks for the weary traveler then chips and soda. The downside is they don't consistently print their receipts at the pump and going in can require a wait in line.

There is also a Dunkin' Donuts attached so you have coffee drive through traffic too. They close at 9, pretty early for the area. Prices are not the lowest, if you rank Torrington they would probably be close to the top third. Cashiers are always friendly.

I present the Reena Citgo, a beacon of light in an otherwise cold, dark wasteland with limited cell phone service. The station is a little awkward coming in and out at time, the pumps are right by the road, but if you're running into the service station there is parking and entrance in the back. The prices are a little high, if you're in need of emergency eggs it's so much easier then Stop and Shop.

We recently needed some air for our tires, and when we stopped the air machine was available for $1.25 (for air???). Two things, though: one, the money goes to a local charity, and two, if you walk in and ask the attendants they will turn it on for free. We needed air in all our tires which took some time, and the attendants weren't bothered at all. Nice guys. A nice policy. They dispense Shell gas at a price equal to or maybe a penny or two lower than neighboring competitors. We're happy to return here.

They are 3.03 per gallon today, everyone else is 3.05 or higher per gallon. Lots of pumps for no wait, including two diesel pumps on the end. They have a convenience store inside which I've never visited. They do get flooded rarely when the river overflows. Don't know if that seeps into the gas lines, but I always wait a few days to go after that. Xpress is definitely the go to for gas and savings.

Sometimes WINZZ even competes to be the lowest gas prices around (were featured on a news station a couple years back) but don't always have to be as they are your first stop off the highway. All-in-all there is no room for improvement here. They have some cool and unique here. Especially with all the Cumberland Farms popping up in the area.
