How does one rate gas stations? Cleanliness? The flavour of the foods?…read more Excellent question, is it not? Service? Quality of gas? Perhaps we should be focus on the quality of the gas pumps. In this particular Sunoco, the pumps move a tad more slowly than most... so slowly in fact, that it was roughly 3 minutes per gallon. Needless to say, I did not "fill er up". It was 15 minutes and 6 gallons later that I gave up. It's quite possible that there was a particular malfunction that day, but there's no question in my mind that it is the slowest I'd ever seen... Period. Hopefully they'll get the equipment working better soon. :) Until then, stay far far away... (unless you've something better to do?)

Driving past Biggie's Foodmart, I had always been intrigued by the sign for the fried chicken…read more Last night, my husband and I drove past looking for gas and stopped at Biggie's. Well, there was no gas, but we made an impulsive decision to try the chicken. We sampled the chicken breast dinner plate, which came with 2 sides and a couple of pieces of sliced bread. Our sides were the french fries and coleslaw. The french fries were ok. The chicken was delicious--a nice crunchy coating that did not have the spiciness of KFC, but was all the better for it. The chicken meat was moist and wonderful. We also liked the coleslaw. Staff at Biggie's were friendly and fun. Glad I listened to that impulse.
