Handed the clerk a $20 and he said he could not make the change. I was a little surprised considering they sell lottery tickets. I said fine and asked for my $20 back. The clerk acted disgusted and peeled off the tickets anyway. Then in a totally disrespectful tone he said who uses $20's on Sundays? I said please just give me my money back. He refused since he had already peeled the tickets. Then he said, again in a nasty tone, "I am a gas station not a bank" I apologized and left. I try very hard to be respectful and kind in these challenging times. I cannot remember when someone talked to me like that. I also have done very few negative Yelp reviews since the start of the pandemic but this was just un called for.

Once I asked about an oil change for my Nissan Rogue and was quoted a crazy amount so don't my oil changes there. Another time my brother went there to get a tired patched. It was in the side wall and they said they do not recommend patching it, but patched it anyway any my bother just kept the donut on and got a new tier so was a waste on money. I was not there so don't know how the transaction went down but my brother wasn't happy. Also, only a few of them speak English and they are a little hard to understand at times.

I came in for engine oil change. The office staff told me the wait would be 30 minutes and I would be next. I bought a cold soda and waited patiently in my car. After 40 minutes of silence, I got out to check, only to find a different car already in the bay. When I questioned the office, they confirmed that the spot should have been mine. The mechanic then told me I would be next after this 10-minute job. However, as I was preparing to pull my car behind his, another vehicle cut in and took the spot right in front of me. I waited for another 30 minutes in the 90°F heat. Even with my AC running, sitting under the blazing sun for over an hour made me physically ill--my face was flushed and swollen from the heat exhaustion. Seeing the mechanic chatting and laughing with the person who cut the line, while I had been ignored for over an hour, was the final straw. In 2026, one would think "first come, first served" is a basic human principle, but apparently not here. To anyone who values their time and expects to be treated with basic respect: Avoid this place. P.S. A huge thank you to the office staff who were genuinely helpful and nice. It is a shame that the lack of professional ethics in the service bay ruined the hard work you do. I won't be back.

I was getting the runaround from the dealership (yet again) and enduring poor quality work from other stations....finally got fed up and brought my car here (for the tire repair mentioned below), after remembering how nice Navy, the cashier and owner's wife, had always been when I bought gas... College Park Auto Service quickly fixed my tire on the spot (which the dealership said I needed to have replaced, as well as all my other tires...I had replaced all four tires about a year ago...I mean, really?!!) College Park Auto also quickly repaired a right turn signal light which had been acting up for over a year (and which both the dealership and other auto repair places had not been able to figure out...) My right turn signal is now working normally, after a simple and inexpensive fix by College Park Auto---YAY!!! Thank goodness for this place, and for the awesome and humble mechanics here, especially Tek (and Navy is super funny and friendly)....This is my go-to place from now on for all my car maintenance and repairs (except body work, which they don't do).... Super grateful for businesses like these!

Well, at West Street Exxon these guys know how to take care of the customer! Yes, its self service, so be prepared to pump your own. However, the attendant on Tuesday came over and said "why don't you let me do that for you today?" Uh, ooooo kaaay, is all that I could muster because I just haven't experienced that in literally years! Not only did he pump the gas, he brought my receipt to my window and then proceeded to ASK, did you hear me ASK, if I minded him checking my tire inflation because he thought it looked a bit low. I just melted and so did my co-workers. How nice to have folks from not only out of town, but from out of the country really see what our area is like from a community perspective, eh? My vehicle was serviced TWICE within a ten-day period, incurring charges totaling $1,272.06…read more Unfortunately, I was forced to return two days later on June 25th after my check engine light returned. At this time (June 25th), I was informed that my engine was no longer viable--a fact that was not disclosed to me during either visit, despite extensive diagnostics and repairs. On June 13, I was charged $875.64 for a range of services including ignition coil replacement, synthetic oil change, and tire rotation. Then, on June 23, I returned due to continued issues and was charged an additional $396.42 for a valve cover gasket replacement, which would supposedly address the engine issue. The technician noted oil in the spark plugs and a leak from the valve cover gasket, yet failed to inform me that these symptoms likely indicated a more serious engine failure. Had I been properly informed of the engine's condition during the first visit--or even the second--I would not have authorized further repairs. The lack of transparency and failure to diagnose the core issue resulted in unnecessary expenses and lost time. Save your time and money and choose a different mechanic. I am utterly disappointed after patronizing this shop for the last two years. Do better.
