It's been awhile since I been here last time and there's been some upgrades in menu display but still same local mom & pop donut vibe. In the area since it's back to school for the kids so decided to get some breakfast here. A young man was quick to come help us pick out what we wanted. I love their ham and cheese breakfast items. They ask if you want it heated up and yes I love my croissants warm. I wholeheartedly support local donut shops and keep my distance from popular chains. Stop by early to get your hands on a bacon maple, bierrock or strawberry donut. read more

Visited last week. My daughter was out from school for a few days and was having a hard time getting up and didn't want to go back that morning. So I had to bribe my little sweet tooth of a daughter that if she got up and got ready without trouble that we would get donuts when I picked her up. I saw this location near by. As promised and of course she reminded me during pick up we arrived here just around 11am. The shop is small the lady who was there was kind and greeted us upon entry. They had quite the variety. We ordered a chocolate bar, maple bar and one sprinkled donut. They also offered hot foods, breakfast sandwiches . The donuts were delicious! The chocolate and the maple glaze were rich and donuts were soft. Would definitely return. read more

love sunnyside donuts. a family owned and operated business.. this is my go to place for donuts. The donuts taste super fresh and even the cake donuts are very soft on the inside. They have several different luxury donuts, which in my opinion. All taste amazing. I tend to gravitate towards the cake donuts. They have a wonderful blueberry old-fashioned donut that's definitely worth a try. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. There is two booths within the donut shop if you want to sit down and eat . read more

Expensive donuts with barely any fillings. It was the most priciest donut I've ever bought. 2.75 for a raspberry filled. Donut was probably filled a quarter size at most. Enough for one bite. Taste wise, it's just like any other raspberry filled read more

I love this place. Donuts r fresh and delicious Cinnamon rolls r great. Bacon maple bars are fantastic

Kendra was my "good morning smile" to start my early morning. Two Boston Crème, cake donut j& bag of donut holes to begin my "use it or lose it" commitment for unhealthy, inexcusable & nonconformity behavior to live long & prosper. Military discount is definitely the highlight of my purchase so I may indulge my third with a senior coffee from McDs. I love Sunnyside Donuts. My favorites are maple bars, cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. I am glad they now have longer hours because they now have maple bars later in the morning. The bakery is always clean and the people who work there are always friendly. Occasionally they throw in an extra treat in the box! read more

I went to get my unit donuts and they were fast and donuts were fresh. Every one loved them.

Susan & Gerardo made me immediately feel welcome and appreciated! If I was able to give a 7-star rating, I would give them seven stars; 7 superstars, because Susan and Gerardo are definitely superstars, not only in the world of Donuts and Berrock and all the other very many delicious items they serve, but also as human beings on this planet they excel in alacrity, ambiance, attentiveness, generosity, charisma and charm!! One of the friendliest neighborhood shops in Sunnyside. Gerardo and his wife run Sunnyside donuts. They are up early every day making delicious and filling donuts and other breakfast items to host a breakfast party for the kids, say thank you with a goodie day at work, or to help start your day. They offer beer rocks made with ground beef, onions, and cabbage as well as a variety of breakfast croissants to fill you up if you're not into the sweet stuff. Whether you want donuts or not, come by and get to know some awesome friendly people in the neighborhood. read more

Mediocre donuts and bad customer service. I won't be going back there because there are many places better than this.

I had the best customer service from SUSAN. The donuts, croissants, beerock bread was delicious. Thank you :)

Greeted with smiles and compassion plus their egg rolls are GLORIOUS! So glad I gave this establishment a try :)

Sunnyside Donuts - a table with a sign that says sunnyside - Bakeries Near Me - Fresno, California

Wanted to take some treats to my family in SE Fresno. I wasn't sure where to find a good donut shop, that's when Yelp stepped in. With such raving reviews, I had to give it a go. The donuts are honestly delicious and extremely fresh. The strawberry bars with glaze are scrumptious with a cup of coffee. My family really enjoyed them ! I personally did not receive good customer service. The girl had no personality, no expression, not a tinge of friendliness. For that, I must knock a star off. Selection was also a tad sparse, probably due to the crazy morning rush. Great prices though and they make homemade bierocks! Yum. I will be back in a week or two to try other things out... read more

Our first time here and not impressed. The girl put our half dozen of donuts in a brown paper bag. The chocolate was melted to each other by the time we got home. They can't afford boxes?? The quality of the donuts gets a 2. They are not good tasting. And the next day, hard as a rock. I'm not sure these were made the same day I bought them. Not fresh... So avoid this place!! There are better donuts just down the road. read more

Service here is amazing. My son loved every donut we chose. Coffee was a little too strong for me but it was fixed with a little more hot water. The lady even gave me a free donut for him to try. Can't wait to come back! read more

Sunnyside Donuts makes the best donuts with that perfect softness that you feel when you bite it. Lots of places advertise their fancy fruit loop bacon crazy topping specialties but then the donut itself is dry, or stale, or bland. Here, the donuts are just perfect. Whether a maple bar, or chocolate glazed, or glazed twist, whatever it is, you'll love it. And if you don't, there's probably something wrong with you, not the donut... I'm just sayin'... read more

We recently purchased donuts from Sunnyside Donut and although the I have no issues with the service or establishment, I will say that I was not a fan of the donuts themselves. They weren't terrible, but they did have an off taste that seemed to be akin to "old" donut taste (stale). read more

Stopped in Sunday morning before I left town. The girl that helped us was a sweetheart I wished I would have gotten her name. She made our visit pleasant and she has such a refreshing personality that I totally appreciated! this is the best donut shop ever ! I drive 20 mins just to get the donuts here and the thing I love is they're always changing donut styles but keep the signature one ! the service is so sweet, sometimes they'll give you a free one just because ! read more

I love their ham, cheese and jalapeño breakfast sandwiches. My 13 yr old and my 42 year old love the special doughnuts they do. The maple bacon bar is spot on. I seriously love this place. I did a custom lettering order and they are reasonably priced. I've even called in the day before and placed an order for a hold donuts for me before. Always love this place! Good people! Delicious donuts! I'm glad you're in my neighborhood!

Very basic. The donuts are edible. Fine enough sweets but don't go out of your way for them. Also, google maps gives pretty poor directions to this place. read more

When I moved to the area, I bought doughnuts here because my children love doughnuts. After my 10th+ visit, my kids asked me to stop buying doughnuts here because they didn't taste good. I was shocked, but they were right. I have had undercooked doughnuts, greasy doughnuts and weird concoctions of doughnuts all from here. No consistency, and not a lot of variety to choose from. I stopped going and my kids thanked me. read more

Their donuts are DELICIOUS! Not only are their donuts the best in town but their customer service is so genuine! I placed an order for 2 dozens of pink sprinkled donuts &there was a mix up with contact info, which made me run late on picking them up and instead of just closing on me they stayed a little bit after closing hoping that I would show up. I felt so bad because it was about half an hour after closing &I expected to have some angry workers lol but they were so nice about it!! They even gave me a dozen of glazed donuts and some ham&cheese bars THANK YOU again, my daughter LOVES your donuts and wanted them to be a part of her 5th birthday You guys are a far drive from me but worth every bit of it, even the risk of a speeding ticket because I always speed hoping that I catch your bacon donuts before they sell out lol. read more
