I don't know why reviews are so poor for this location. Yes, the guy who works there is a little quiet, and his English isn't perfect, but that does not mean it's bad service! If you actually talk to him, you'd know he's fun, funny, kind and generous. That said, Sunny's has a spectacular selection of everything you could want. Huge vape selection, and even better Kratom selection. Super great pricing on certain high milligram Kratom for a great price. Don't let the shyness of the guy behind the counter to feel off putting. I usually go to a smoke shop once a week and the last 3 times I've been to Sunny's the glass on every bubbled i bought breaks where it's attached to the metal threaded piece. The last one I bought from Sunny's I brought it back within a hour of purchasing it, I never got to try it as it broke when the first time I screwed the quarts tip in and they won't do anything about it, no exchange nothing so I'm out $80 my purchase before that was a electric dabbler that won't heat up and again won't do anything about it. I'm out $150 and they said call the manufacturer. Time before that I bought a different bubbler I brought it back because it had a small crack where you put the bowl, I never used it and again they did nothing. So I took it home and It broke the 2nd time I used it. That cost me $130. Yesterday I went into purchase vape juice the total came to $37.88. I handed the young man working the register $47.90, so I could get a $10 back in change. He took the money put it in the register and handed me 3 pennies. So, I said excuse me you owe me $10.03. He argued back and forth with me until he FINALLY handed me the correct amount back. Up until today, I would have given this vape shop 4 to 5 stars. Yet, today, something happened that made me amend my impression of this shop. A few weeks ago, I bought an e-cig rig from Sunny's that was faulty. Naturally, I was frustrated and upset having spent $100 on a rig that was faulty. I asked questions and expected a satisfactory response, which I was not given. I decided to give Sunny's on Los Altos another shot a few days ago. Benefit of the doubt and all. The saleswoman was polite and serviced me well. I spent approximately $100 more in product (e-liquid and a new e-cig package) from them. I was even okay with the fact that I'd need to go to the manufacturer if there was a problem with the product. So, I thought Sunny's on Los Altos had redeemed itself and earned my business back. However, today, I went in to see if they sold replacement glass for a mod that I, openly admitted to the salesman that I broke. I was told that they did carry the part I was looking for and the cost of said replacement. However, that is when Sunny's male employee at the shop took a turn for the worst. The salesman told me that due to my questioning of the quality of the e-cig rig I bought a few weeks ago, the owner of the store declared that I was no longer welcome to purchase items in the store. I was, understandably shocked at this proclamation. The salesman even went so far as to call my concern of the faulty e-cg rig as "B. S." (This comment was made even after I spent so much money in the store less than a week ago.) I even wondered if this salesman mistook me for another client, seeing as I'm a brown skinned woman who prides herself on being intellectually assertive, yet polite. So, unfortunately, I cannot give this store a good rating. If you are a customer who asks questions and expects a satisfactory response, this establishment is not for you. Okay first let me reply to some of the concerns that many have brought up, it is S.O.P. for vape shops to refer you to the manufacturer for repairs. With that said I love this shop I vape a lot more then I should, usually 150 ml a week. Sunnys does bulk sale pricing and is significantly cheaper then surrounding shops. He spent around $120 there on a new mod and when he purchased it they told him to hold onto his receipt Incase something was wrong with it. They offered me loaner mods if mine wasn't working and always tried to fix etc if it wasn't working before I bought a new one. Sunnys used to be my go to shop for my boyfriend and me but recently we've noticed a drop in the quality of their products. Specifically their batteries, when we recieved them they were taken off the charger in the store and placed into our dual battery mods and they weren't evenly charged. We took out the batteries out to charge when we got home, a couple of the batteries wouldn't charge all the way and upon closer inspection we noticed the plastic around the batteries was damaged. This is the third time I've bought "unlucky" batteries from them, I dont think it's my luck anymore. I don't think I'll buy my batteries there anymore. read more

Sunny's has been the smoke shop I have preffered to go to and recommended to many friends, normally I go to the one off of Wells but today I made the mistake of going to the one on Los Altos. This was damn near one of the worst experiences I have had in a store based off customer service. When I first walked in I was not only not greeted but as soon as I came in the gentlemen working with long hair, glasses and clean cut face made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I told him I was there to check on prices for CBD vape oil and I attempted to make conversation saying I normally go to the one on wells and he responded with the most blank face possible "ok". Then he asked to see my ID of course I gave it to him. Not knowing that you have to be 21 to buy CBD oil since I have never had this issue before he said "you are not old enough you need to be born in 1997" and then walks off. I then had to proceed asking why or if this is a new law since I am not familiar with it. He gave the most minimal answer possible and again was still rude and made me feel unwelcomed. Then I said I was going to look around for a second and he responds with "well you are old enough" again with no emotion. Then I say well have a goodnight and he responds with "yup you too". This was by far the worst experience I have had in a smoke shop and definitely worst experience I have had for receiving customer service. Because of tonight I will not be shopping at this location again, possibly not the company again either. Been to all locations of their locations. Products are fair not the best. One time I went to this location and asked one of the workers (not sunny), for a specific RDA. He said they didn't have it. About three minutes later I found it then told him that's what I was looking for he then said, oh. Another time I went in which was about two weeks ago a new guy was working. I asked him where the ohm readers were. He said ohm reader? I said yes? He said, "I'm not sure what that exactly is". I then walked out. Other times I've went in people were just rude and seemed like they didn't care. Sunny and his wife on the other hand are very polite and helpful along with being negotiable with some products. After all said and done, ofcourse these local shops have to make money. But pricing a $20 Clone up to $80 seems a little far fetched. read more
