Ten out of five stars!!!!! Best place to get teriyaki with huge portions and low prices!!!! The ownership has been changed and the new owner is awesome and really cares to the needs of her guests. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick, easy and most of all delicious meal.

disgusting (orange chicken) only white rice was ate!

if 0 STARS was an option... went in yesterday 10/18/2022 about 7:35pm waited for almost 12 minutes to be greeted by anyone, a older lady walked out and still ignored us....eventually was greeted ask if they had chicken, was told no chicken no beef...she didn't say anything went to the back for about 4-5 minutes......came back waited another 5-10 minutes for her. finally said we're ready to order started placing our order, asked for 3 orange chicken plates...total was over 60.00 dollars for home. looked and something didn't seemed right. the orange chicken SMELLED awful also tasted old...TOOK A FEW BITES.. NOW FEEL SICK !!!!!! i called today 10/19/22 about 5 something spoke with the lady that i'm sure took our order last night explained the orange chicken wasn't good and we didn't eat any of it....not even the dogs would touch it (dogs eat everything) she told me i was crazy....& hung up called back again sent straight to voicemail.... DO NOT EAT HERE....!!!

    Spicy chicken teriyaki

My sister loves this place and i was hesitant since the reviews were not good. We just ordered it and it's so good! The spicy chicken teriyaki is sooo good! I ordered on the phone and she was so nice and to the point and had it ready when I got there.

    Lunch special #6 General Chicken
    Just I.

Smaller sized portion than some other places. I ordered the general chicken during lunch time. I did not like the flavor of this dish. I may give another chance but there are better places in the area.

    General Tsao's Chicken! SO good

There were only a few tables inside but almost half of them were already occupied with several customers. I was quickly seated for a table of 1. The tables are fairly close together and the noise level is low enough to hear conversations around me. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear other customers comment at their tables that the food here is good. There's a few ajummas working here, so service was straightforward. I ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap, which seemed inexpensive and came with some complementary sides, and they were nice enough to cut my kalbi into bite-sized pieces for me. I would say, if I can finish my food in one sitting at a restaurant, I am either really hungry, satisfied, or both. In this case, it was both! This is my first dolsot bibimbap after moving to Washington recently, and I am glad it did not disappoint.

We ordered the galbi, bulgogi, galbi-tang, seafood tofu soup, kimchi fried rice, and beef fried rice. Everything was incredibly flavorful, and they included a variety of fresh kimchi on the side. Even with multiple dishes, our order was prepared within minutes. Such a cute mom-and-pop restaurant with great food, fair prices, and excellent customer service. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

I finally made it to Mujka Korean BBQ and it definitely lived up to the hype!…read more First off, this is not one of those all-you-can-eat buffet-style BBQ spots. You choose meat combos that fit your group size, which makes the experience feel more intentional and higher quality. The portions were generous, fresh, and perfect for grilling right at the table. The banchan (side dishes) were served to us, and whenever we needed more, our server brought them straight to the table -- no getting up to serve yourself. That level of service really stood out. You also have the option to order from the main menu if you don't prefer cooking on your own, which makes it great for everyone at the table. The variety of soups was another plus -- served family-style and perfect for 2-3 people to share. And the best part? If you have leftovers, you can take them to go -- something you don't get with buffet-style places. I was especially happy that our combo came with a big beef bone. I got to bring it home for my dog, and she was beyond excited! Shoutout to our server, Tae, who was superb and provided excellent customer service. Attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Service like that truly elevates the entire experience. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. Definitely adding this to my regular rotation in Puyallup!

We explained that once the grill was "seasoned," the food would not stick; which is why we didn't want it changed... yet he asked if we wanted it changed right after this. I also asked for more napkins, he brought one. The ventilation in this restaurant is horrendous, the smoke and heat from the grill were unpleasant for anyone sitting near the wall. I had to move seats after I was done cooking, because the heat was making me sweat profusely. A female employee came by and asked if we needed anything, and I asked for napkins (to wipe the sweat off my face). She looked at me as if I was asking for a slice of pizza. I asked her if there was a problem, because of the look she gave me. She responded, "no." I got the feeling as though she didn't want to give us napkins for some reason. The Korean food is listed in Korean...so unless you ask questions, you may not know what you're ordering. In the past I have tried the Bulgogi, which is good and comes with banchan--but a little pricey. This time around we chose Mongolian Beef and Teriyaki Chicken with Gyoza. The Mongolian Beef was not good. I didn't care for the sauce, the meat was chewy, and the styrofoam noodles were rancid--and there were a lot of them! The actual portion size was pretty small. The salad on the plate with the Teriyaki and Gyoza was big chunk of lettuce with a giant glob of dressing--pretty unappealing. Service was mediocre. There were flies buzzing around as we ate. I think we are the only Americans in here right now. Pretty busy for dinner. Not really sure that we would return, better places in the area. Overall 2.5 rating.

A shame that this wasn't just reflected in the already high menu prices. Pay your employees instead of having them resort to such atrocious aggressive tactics and begging. It was located in a dimly lit strip mall, the only bright store was a boba tea store next door. When we entered there was a weather Matt propping open the second door. However, the edges were raised causing a fall risk. We were greeted by one staff member (didn't see any other one in the front). She pointed us to the corner where the high chairs were located (since we were with our toddler). We ended up sitting in the front side alcove to prevent our kiddo from running a muck. The staff rolled her eyes at us. We ordered the brisket bone soup, seafood soup, mandu and the seafood pancake. The pancake was thick and unevenly cooked. There were cold spots in the pancakes. The Mandus were steaming hot same with our soups. We were used to multiple side dishes with our means but we only got two types of kimchis. The ambience felt more like a karaoke bar than a restaurant. The water cups were dirty and the food was nothing special. Would not consider this kid friendly since the menu was limited and even though there was high chairs there was no other accommodations for young families. The service was typical Korean restaurant. Food delivered and with instruction. Was disappointed they charged us for to go containers without telling us. Maybe this is something common in Lakewood, we're not from around here so maybe we missed the memo. $0.25 a container? Would've brought my own. Overall consistent with other Korean eatery, prices more than other Asian delicacies. Service on par with past experiences. Parking sketchy but plenty of space, ambience was clubby not family oriented. Cleanliness was "ok" Food flavor was as expected, nothing to recommend as a must try.

This is something I ate often growing up and it is always perfect here. * Their steamed dumplings and seafood pajeon weren't my favorites. The dumplings lacked flavor, and the pajeon had only a handful of very small octopus/squid pieces. * You only get two sides of kimchi, and they're on the sweeter side. That said, I do like the radish kimchi better than the napa kimchi.
