Fast forward to our appointment day, two massages for my best friend and I. I called and asked if they could bring us in a little earlier than the original apt time and that wasn't a problem at all, another smooth process. We arrive, two massages, 30 mins, we get on the phone with the manager and she clarifies some questions. The woman who was working with us in the massage room hands the phone to my friend and says, one of you may be pregnant, and the lady looks my friend up and down. She's not pregnant, not a big deal but it was how it was handled it was not professional at all. So after the insult, they have us get ready/undress and such. They come in and leave the room several times with the door open and we both have no tops on and are not covered since they were massaging our backs. This is while they are holding conversations in the hall way. To say kinda uncomfortable is being light. Massage ends they're super nice, language barrier is a thing I understand. Again not a big deal. But having the manager on the phone to translate and not there is a little chaotic, checking out the lady asks before I use my card how much do you want to leave for a tip. I have had many services done and never been asked...I do tip, that just caught me off guard. But again maybe she wasn't sure how to use the credit card machine? Then she shows me on her phone that she is the new boss. Deanna and the rest of the great massage therapists that I've come to appreciate are all gone. Then I requested a 90 minute massage. 45 minutes into a positively unimpressive massage the "new boss" says she's only going to do my massage for 1 hour. Doesn't give me a choice or a reason. Then when I go to leave she takes my temperature as I'm walking out. I asked her why and she says because Your warm???? I asked her what my temp was and she said "98, Kinda warm". I'm not a Dr but 98 seems just right to me. Guess I'm going to have to find a new massage place in Brighton. Yes I moved to Brighton and still only went to my massage place. So sad!!!!!!

So fast forward to today, after my husband went back and forth between groupon and relax house for a refund to no avail, we were able to schedule another appointment since she had already redeemed the one on 6/27. We had an appoint today at 5:30pm we showed up at 5:15pm. Went in, was getting ready to lay down for our massage and the lady comes in the room aggressive, "you need to pay, you got refund"... (unknowingly to us) she tells us it was refunded today. Begins to be disrespectful in her native tongue( I know because I have Google Translate on my phone, yea thought she was slick jokes on her) So we said ok can we purchase another Groupon because it only gave us a credit, she goes no, you pay cash only, you pay cash only!! Then the so called manager comes out and tells my husband yes you can purchase another Groupon just give him the new redeem code...in the process of doing that she says not you pay cash only or no massage. It is used for chronic aches and pain and sore, contracted areas such as a stiff neck (my arthritis stop) and upper back, Low back muscle tightness and aching shoulders. After 40 minutes deep tissue massage they give the hot stone massage for about 10 minutes. During a Hot Stone Massage, heated stones are used to massage and relieve tension. This therapy helped me relax and feel it refreshed my body. Sometimes, I ask for deep tissue massage and Gua Sha. For me once a while after massage, Gua Sha helps me even better and quicker to relieve my muscle tension and pain. This technique effectively breaks up my muscle knots, reduces soreness, and alleviates pain in areas like the neck, shoulders, and back. The scraping motion stimulates blood flow and aids in removing metabolic waste and stagnant fluids, which reduces swelling (when my arthritis been triggered). COCO
