We never thought it could be fixed, as it was in many small pieces, but Dave did an incredible job of putting it back together and making it look as if nothing had ever happened to it. He is very fast too, and his prices are more than fair. We highly recommend Dave.

Since he was going to be in the house all day, he asked to meet our dog when he came in, so she could get used to him and not be worried while he was coming in and out of the house. When I had to leave the house, he called me to make sure I wanted a tint to match the bathtub vs. a bright white (as I had just told him "white" when I left). I couldn't be happier with the service and I'm grateful to AK Refinishing for sending us such a kind craftsman.

He picked the table up and returned it. For those of you who do not know what a drum table is, the center of the table goes around. Mine was badly broken causing the top to be very tilted. I told Mr Burkett, if he could not fix the table to turn and just have the top be connected to the part that turns, I would have him do the job. He came over and looked at it and said he was pretty confident he could fix it. I also have my grandmother's secretary and one of the doors was too warped to close, he fixed that too and now it closes perfectly.

They renovated my entire house, and the experience was smooth, fast, and incredibly well-priced. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything turned out beautifully. They treated my home like it was their own, and the attention to detail was fantastic. Every part of the process was clear, communication was excellent, and there were no surprise costs. I contacted several refinishing businesses and Rick gave me the best price by far. I am going to have him do more work for me in the future. It is so much wiser to have a piece of furniture refinished than to buy new. Personally I feel New furniture is not as good quality as older pieces. Most furniture today is made cutting corners on workmanship. I received several estimates and Rick gave me the fairest estimate and the only estimate that enabled me to refinish my table. I am very grateful to him. I am totally thrilled with his work and I highly recommend him. I hope you can see all the photos I am posting. Here are before and after photos.
