They are the first people I have rented with, and I felt like I had to stay "in network" in regards to moving into a different apartment. Great to communicate with and rent with! Very accommodating. read more

Haven't even had a showing yet and I'm already seeing red flags. Required me to sign a document just to see the apartment. After forgetting to attach the document to her email, the lady I was in contact with sent me someone else's completed application, complete with their Social Security Number, driver's license number, and other personal info. Already done considering this agency. No thanks. read more

Stay far away from this company if you want to be treated like a human being. Currently on Yelp, they maintain a ONE star rating and I can attest to support that ranking. They "manage" our funding for our association (condo monthly) fee, and today I finally understood why EVERYONE reports that the girl in the office is exceedingly rude. She came over with a contractor to review and discuss the leaking of water in our basement. When I began explaining what the plumbers discovered, she cut me off, told me to NOT talk about the plumbers and ONLY discuss what SHE told me to, similar to a dictator. We own this house and have never been treated this way in our home. Then, she proceeded to ask me a question, I answered it and she rolled her eyes at me pertaining to my answer. I asked her: why are you asking me a question, if you plan to mock/roll her eyes with distain at my answer? I then decided I needed my cell phone and ran upstairs to get it. The contractor advised her that he did not want any toxicity in the environment, and asked her to please go sit in the truck. While she was leaving, she decided to mark her exit by slamming our door so loud it vibrated the house and scared our dogs. The rest of the time with the contractor was informative and valuable. False advertising can be classified as deceptive if the advertiser deliberately misleads the consumer, rather than making an unintentional mistake. They intentionally have on their website: "As a customer, you will be more than satisfied with the cleanliness of each unit in addition to our service, follow-up, professional month-end closing statements, and ongoing ability to listen to any concerns or questions." Our lawyer (in Minneapolis) is already involved due to the duration of the neglect of this water situation, and we will add our experience today by notifying them. If this woman plans to return to our house at any time to further her destruction of our property, the police will be called. read more

I have rented from Sunnydaze in 4 different locations, they have been nothing but helpful and pleasant to myself and my roommate. Places are very clean and in great working order. Wouldn't hesitate a minute to rent from them. read more

I really enjoy renting from SunnyDaze! They are very quick in responding to maintenance. Do your part as a renter and there shouldn't be a problem. For my lease next school year I really wanted to stay with them and I am glad there was another unit available. Looking forward to renting from them again! read more

I rent from them currently , they have been great. Would recommend them to everyone of all age groups. Nothing but professional.

I don't normally leave reviews but I have no choice this time, I need to share how truly awful my experience with Sunny Daze was. I signed a lease on an apartment seven months before the move in date. Two months later, I decided to transfer from UW-Stout and needed to move out of the city, so I gave them five months' notice that I would need to break my lease. Any other apartment would have easily accommodated that, yet Sunny Daze acted like it was unheard of. As a brand new renter (it was my first apartment), I didn't notice that Sunny Daze failed to include a lease termination clause in their rental agreement. They gave me no options or assistance in dissolving my lease, even though they had more than enough notice. Instead, they told me that I was responsible for finding a subleaser that both they and the roommate I signed the lease with approved of. Shady thing is, Wisconsin law states that "your landlord must make reasonable efforts to re-rent your unit--no matter what your reason for leaving--rather than charge you for the total remaining rent due under the lease" (Wis. Stat. Ann. § 704.29). They did no such thing, yet after years of disputing this injustice, I was forced to finally cough up the cash for the entire year, since after almost 4 years, this suddenly showed up on my credit report and prevented me from being approved for a new apartment. The cost included the full rent - including my roommate's (who actually lived there) unpaid half, cleaning and damage fees, and lost key fees. I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A KEY OR SET FOOT IN THE PLACE AFTER THE LEASE STARTED, but I was charged cleaning, damage, and key fees. I'm not sure in what universe that's fair. So please, think of my horrible experience when considering this apartment, ESPECIALLY if there's a chance you could be relocated during your lease, or you will be sorry, just like I was. I truly hope no one else has to suffer through something like this, and that Sunny Daze will realize the way they handle their business is despicable. At least this experience taught me to be more careful with what I put my name on, and whose hand I shake. read more

I've honestly never seen such unprofessional behavior from a company as I did with Sunny Daze. I rented from them for a year. Upon move-in, I had to call Sunny Daze as soon as i set foot in the house because it was an absolute mess. The appliances hadn't been cleaned, the walls were disgusting, there was trash throughout the property, and some holes in the walls. Throughout the year, the maintenance man showed up unannounced multiple times, and entered the property without even knocking, which is against the law. We also had bats in the house and could hear mice in the walls. Upon moving out, we received an email from the company calling us disgusting and saying we were disappointments. To be honest, we didn't have everything spotless, but we cleaned for hours when we moved out. I wasn't expecting to get the whole security deposit back, but i wasn't expecting a company that we paid and respected all year to be so unprofessional in speaking to us. Quite frankly, all they had to do was send the cleaning report of what they had to do when we moved out, not send an unsolicited email calling their customers names. Its a sad excuse for a rental company, who rips off college kids because we don't have the funds to hire lawyers that can call them on their bullshit. read more
