Absolutely, the best nail salon in Nashville! Yes, they are in Bellevue, located a little out of my way, but well worth the extra few miles. They are located right off of the Newsom Station Exit on I-40 W in a strip mall next to Dollar Tree, Bed Bath & Beyond and Michael's Arts & Craft's. The owner, Heidi, is a cracker-jack shop owner who remembers each customer by name and requires the best service and expertise from all of her staff. The shop is clean and modern and they take walk-ins and well as appointments. Prices are good for the excellent service. A couple of my co-workers tried this salon and then tried other ones, only to return to Sunlight Nails because they offer the most perfect manicure for your money. I've been a customer for a number of years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I get compliments on my nails all the time. Great salon! read more

Sunlight Nails...***singing like Oprah***Awesoommeee! I was running my weekend errands and decided my nails needed some love and care. I had gone to other shops but still was not completely satisfied with the experience...either the nails were fine but the service was not great or neither. Needless to say I was skeptical. SunLight Nails was an awesome experience...first thing I noticed is the energy is very positive and upbeat. The nail tech I had is so unbelievably talented, he is like an artist...seriously! And the attention to detail...I received multiple compliments on my nails five minutes after leaving the shop. The service was refreshing. Overall this shop is a hidden gem. By the way, the new owner is customer-focused. I believe I have just found my nail place. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Sunlight Nails for many years, as have some of my friends. Even though I live in Donelson, I would make the long drive to this salon because they always do such great work. The owner, Heidi Tran, often did my nails. But today I called for an appointment with her and was told that she is no longer there! The guy that answered wouldn't give many details and only said she no longer worked there. I'm a bit upset as I considered Heidi a friend and am somewhat worried about her. Does anyone know what happened? Did she sell the business to someone else? UPDATE: I was told today that Heidi Tran sold Sunlight Nails about 2 months ago, so she is no longer the owner. It's like losing a friend! read more

Very unpleasant atmosphere. I will never go here or refer anyone here. Terrible service . The owner Heidi is so un classy and fake. All she does is brag about herself. You should listen more to what I need done to my nails instead of bad mouthing about other shops. Her attitude is really unbearable. Been here a couple of time and the same thing over and over.You treat your worker horribly and they all say they hate you. You should be kinder to them and maybe you won't have so many turn over. Although my review says San Francisco, I'm actually in Nashville, TN. Sunlight Nails is in Bellevue. First time at this salon - I had been going to a local large nail salon for many years in my area and was looking for a change. Sunlight Nails did not disappoint. Kim was my nail technician and she did a fantastic job. Very friendly and I loved my finished product. I will be returning to this salon and look forward to trying more of the services they offer. read more

I have been going to Sunlight nails for many years!! They have always been great!! I have had issues with ingrown toe nails for some time. Tina has done a great job with taking care of this for me. i decided it was a bright idea to take my 9month old here with me, he did great at first then started to get aggravated half way in. The staff here assured me everything was completely fine and helped me so much with my baby. my nails and toes look great. they were so patient and kind. Don't waste your time! If you want to be disrespected and harassed by any means, please walk in the door. If your a person of color I would not recommend going to this facility. Harassed and treated lesser than a person just because of a person's skin color. They want our money but not our presence. read more
