This is how bad Sunlight Media LLC is: I asked them to fix the contact form on my website. A simple ask. Shortly after, I stopped receiving any emails, whatsoever. This went on for about a month. I spent thousands of dollars on an IT company to investigate and learned that Sunlight Media created a whole new email server for me, same email address, at GoDaddy. So, all of my emails were diverted to GoDaddy (I use business Gmail). Rather than fix the contact form on my website, they created a whole new email for me on a new server at GoDaddy. Also, when the IT company was on the back server of my site trying to investigate this, they learned that my Google Crawl (which tracks SEO) was turned off and it was turned off around the time Sunlight Media LLC built my website (the date of the change showed). Not once has Angelo accepted responsibility. Rather, he says things like his colossal mistake was within "the scope of our agreement." As if, diverting my emails to a whole new email server at GoDaddy was within the scope of our agreement when I asked him to fix the contact form on my website. Sunlight Media should reflect on their lack of professionalism and the lack of personalized attention they provide to projects. They have no care for the outcome or attention to detail. Beware. Totally unprofessional. read more

Just worked with angelo on my logo for my business. He was quick with responses, efficient and produced a great quality. We literally had 30 mock designs so there was a lot of back and forth but he was very professional and he created the perfect logo for us. Very nice man, calm and doesn't get easily angered. Very honest. Would DEFINITELY use him again. read more

My company faced a hacking crisis earlier this year, so we turned to Angelo and his team based on the recommendation of a trusted IT company. Sunlight Media fixed our website completely, quickly and at a very competitive rate. And they steered us clear of unnecessary, costly features--helped us choose only what we needed based on our specific goals. Knowing that web developers each have strengths and weaknesses, we carefully assigned various other tasks to Angelo and his team. Every single time, regardless of the type of assignment, they got it done efficiently, thoroughly, with minimal back-and-forth, and at a much-appreciated, fair price. Every single time. If this is what we have to look forward to, we will NOT be wasting time looking elsewhere for our web development needs. We're truly grateful to have Angelo and his colleagues caring about our business the way they do. S.D. read more

I was left hanging by a web developer who installed a 3rd party WordPress template for me, but failed to deliver the rest of the project. I was way behind, and needed expert help. After consulting with Angelo from Sunlight Media, he reassured me that they could finish the project as I had hoped as the Sunlight Media team had extensive experience in projects like this. To say they delivered would be an understatement. They were also able to do some expert restructuring of a complex animated banner, and it was perfect the first time. In addition to tweaking my blog as I had originally asked, they also went the extra mile when we had an update hiccup with WordPress that was solved within an afternoon's time by working directly with my hosting company. It doesn't get better that this - if you need top notch web development services, whether for blog or website or graphics, I couldn't give a better recommendation. read more

I had made every mistake you could make when trying to hire a company to build a Web site. After a lot of money wasted not to mention time I called Angelo at Sunlight Media and to be honest I went into my deal with Sunlight Media just as blind and ignorant as I had the previous three company's but for some reason they didn't take my money and run! Every word they said has been right on the money from telling me what to expect and what not to expect. Put it this way, as my budget grows and I'm able to do more for my company on the Web I will not call anyone else. Thanks guys. read more

I cannot recommend Angelo and his team highly enough! It's no wonder all of his reviews are 5 stars. Sound too good to be true? It's not. For about 3 to 4 months last fall, I was working with a web developer on the westside who came highly recommended from a good friend. At first, he was great... really responsive and helpful... but after he did his first draft of my new website (not at all to my specs), he disappeared. I tried contacting him multiple times (and multiple ways) to see if he would complete our contract. He responded very intermittently and simply would not continue working on my site (important lesson here: don't buy into the "it will be cheaper if you pay me everything upfront" plan :o). Then I turned to Yelp to try to find someone with good reviews to finish the job that Chris started. Working with Angelo was a complete 180 from what I had experienced previously. Angelo is a professional in every way. He is very pleasant, respectful, organized, highly responsive, insightful, talented, timely, affordable (my site is not a business so I was paying out of my own pocket), and he even helped me with a small modification I needed (at no charge!) after our contract was complete. I would contract with him again in a heartbeat... and probably will for updates to my site in the future. He did an incredible job!!! read more

Angelo and his team at Sunlight Media are awesome! I am fairly new to WordPress and was recently hired by a company, I blindly said I could redesign the current website (www.thewestwoodvillage.com), thinking "it's WordPress, how hard can it be?" Then I started eating those words, big time! I needed an easy crash course and learn the ropes in order to impress my new boss. He was able to work with our extremely limited budget and helped get me to finish the site and to where we are today. Added bonus - they provided us with detailed YouTube clips showing how they did what they did, now I can maintain the site on my own and look like a Rockstar. Great communication! I hope I can work with Angelo and his team again! Highly recommended! read more

I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Sunlight Media. Angelo and his team have always performed in a professional and timely manner. Moreover, the final product has always met or exceeded my expectations. I've used Sunlight Media for three separate sites and look forward to working with them again. read more

Starting your own business is very challenging but working with Sunlight Media was very easy. Angelo was very consultative from the beginning and helped me understand the best demonstrated practices for web design and development. I interviewed a handful of companies before choosing Sunlight Media. My website is exactly what I envisioned and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend this company to others. read more

I feel like it's my duty to warn people as a good citizen. Please note I never used this company. The communication in the beginning was OK until they stopped responding to me. But that's not the issue. This is more of a "black hat" media company. After a few questions I was informed my logo would be outsourced outside the company. The design would not be "in house". If I wanted someone to do my logo not in house I could use all the apps and websites now that offer several revisions and a basically a free price. I run a very high end company where we need a logo our investors would love, this needs some personal attention. I hired another company who I met with a couple times and we didn't have unnecessary back and forth with someone I don't know creating the logo. Our attorney also warned us when it comes to designers and SEO, when it is being outsourced, it doesn't not have the personal attention and education of your business, needs, and wants. Sorry, I never used them but this was my take from dealing with them before. I am sure the Yelp reviews are legit so feel free to try on your own dime. read more

Sunlight did an excellent job on my logo for my laundry business. It looks very professional, price is excellent, and they revised the logo many times until I was 100% satisfied. I will be coming back for my website! Highly recommend this company! read more

I use Yelp a lot to help me decide where to eat and what services to use. Yelp is an important tool in doing my 'homework'. When I decided to have a website created it was Sunlight Media that stood out from the rest as a good local company. I was not disappointed. Angelo and his team performed as agreed and went above and beyond when he showed me how to manage my content should I decide to change it later on my own. The website turned out as I had envisioned it : www.depressioncoach.co . Provided you stay within the scope of the written contract, Angelo will not nickel and dime you for minor issues. I could not ask for better service and I trust you will experience the same professionalism as I did. read more

There are no words...excellent, understanding and patient...Angelo understood all my web needs and delivered beyond words....I am so happy and pleased and have a website that I am so proud of. As a lawyer with limited tech experience, Angelo delivered. He even did a logo for my office which was exactly what I wanted...it was as if he was in my head!!!! I will never go to anyone else! He and Sunlight is the best. read more

Angelo and his team were great to work with, very professional!! I am still working with them on other things, but they finished my website and it was a great experience. Can't say enough good things about Sunlight Media. They were very patient with me; they revised and updated the website design for my law office over, and over, and over . . . . until I was completely happy with it, and that's saying something because I have been accused of being obsessive compulsive; which means I'm very demanding. The results speak for themselves. To see the work that Sunlight did for me for me, you all have a standing invitation to see their masterpiece at jessejbanuelos.com. As "icing on the cake", their price for this work was competitive; meaning that before I chose Sunlight, I obtained quotes from several other designers which were higher than Sunlight's. This is my second Yelp review ever. I wrote my first one about four years ago. What's more, I don't write negative reviews because I don't want to bother with it. So, when I write a review it is because I want to commend and applaud a company or person that has provided me with service that is outstanding. Jesse J. Bañuelos. read more
