Amazing! I went from chronic sciatic pain to being able to walk without so much pain. Finally after 1 1/2 of pain. No words can say how much better I feel. Thank you. Almost back to normal. Slow road to recovery. But with a real chiropractor. read more

Wow! It is a rare thing to find a Chiropractor like this! No frills or gimmicks, pure joy of release! And, although this is never a requirement.. for those of you that envision a football player type doctor releasing all those joints... you won't find a better personification of that vision. I also have to say, his staff is also exceedingly wonderful and when you find a place like this you best remember to appreciate it! read more

Absolutely love this place. Dr. Chapman is awesome. The staff there is awesome the quality of care is awesome Would recommend anybody that's having chiropractic problems. read more

Dr. Chapman has helped me and my daughter get back into alignment. He's great and easy-going. He also successfully helped me with the "Epley maneuver" for a wicked bout of vertigo. The one missing star is due to needed updates to his office and warming machines for the gel used in treatment. read more

amazing service. amazing doctor. great results! my entire family and friends go here. trustworthy business a+

Amazing amazing amazing. Everyone is so friendly and dr Chapman is so knowledgeable. After a spine injury years ago having someone work on my body that knows what they are doing is beyond important. I fully trust Dr Chapman! read more

I've been to about half a dozen chiropractors since I had a car accident and subsequently fell down a flight of stairs at 15 years of age. Rod Chapman is the best chiro I've ever experienced. And here is why: 1) He doesn't try to sell you supplements and nutritional products 2) He actually spends more than 2 minutes with his patients. 3) I've switched insurance providers at least 3 times over the years and he has accepted every single policy. 4) He doesn't pretend he can fix shit he's not capable of fixing 5) He has client appreciation day every year and does FREE adjustments. For the record, I also hear he makes a mean slab of ribs. And his coleslaw recipe is off the chains !!! Seriously though, I would (and have many times) recommend him in a heartbeat. read more

Had to switch chiropractors after over 20 years. Chiropractors have in the past had difficulty adjusting us. Dr. Chapman listened and was very kind. He also managed to adjust both my husband and I right away. So wonderful to have a trustworthy Chiro we can go to. Scheduling is also a breeze. Great front office staff. read more

Great doctor, great staff. I have been seeing Dr. Chapman for a few years now, he is the coolest doctor that I ever had the chance to experience, not to mention great personality. He always helped me with whatever issue I might had at the time, kind and respectful. He is knowledgeable and helpful. highly recommended! read more

I must begin with saying that I was very skeptical about seeing a Chiropractor because I instantly thought "ow!" But thanks to the referral of a close friend, he finally convinced me to give Dr Chapman a try. I will be forever grateful to that friend for introducing me to not only Dr Chapman, but the science of Chiropractic therapy. I've been going to Dr C for a little over a year now and I have yet to be disappointed....I've realized that Chiropractic care is a part of my life and as such I must give it the priority it deserves. With that being said, I was offered an opportunity to visit a Chiro for free and I can tell you that it didn't compare, at ALL! I felt like that particular person just wanted me to leave so he could bring in another patient. Not the warm and friendlies I'm used to. Anyhow, the staff is great, Dr Chapman is great...the wait time (lack-thereof) is great, they open and stay late on Tuesdays and Thursdays for those of us that work regular jobs......you can't go wrong. Give his office a call. read more

First I just want to comment that I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because many times Yelp filters out the 5 star reviews, strange but true. I have 3 different chiropractors in the LA area that I have gone to but I wanted one closer to my house and also not too expensive. I was referred to Dr. Chapman by a friend. Candy at the front desk is very helpful and makes it easy to schedule an appointment. She even watched my daughter while I was getting adjusted! Dr. Chapman is very friendly and easy to talk to. He is also fairly gentle. I say "fairly" because he uses the correct amount of force needed to adjust my neck and back. He also uses some other modalities to ensure he gets the best result possible. I have only seen him twice so far, but both times I left feeling much better. They are also not "high pressure" and do not try to get you to come back every week or so or try to sell you supplements, etc. read more

In 2004 I experienced immense pain during my 8th month of pregnancy. At that time, my job did not allow me to sit at a computer, instead I stood all day long as I copied, assembled and distributed large reports. One day, out of nowhere, an excruciating and piercing pain shot down the back of my leg. It "crippled" me as I wasn't able to walk...I could barely move. A coworker at the time was seeing a chiropractor for her injuries from a car accident, so she highly suggested I do the same. Reluctantly, I called Sunland Chiropractic Center to explain my situation as next thing I know...ba-bam...I am scheduled to see the doctor that evening at 6:30pm. The first thing I said to the doctor was, "I don't like the thought of you cracking-my-bones. Dr. Chapman chuckled and said, "I don't crack, just adjust" which made me smile. It turned out that I had sciatic nerve damage. Dr. Chapman explained sciatic nerve damage is not caused by a single incident, but rather a series of events that accumulate, and then there's the straw that broke the camels back. Standing all day at my job along with pregnancy of 8 months could have been that straw. Not only did I receive the right care for my injuries, but I also learned (in layman's terms) why my body was experiencing such pain. Dr. Chapman has now been a doctor in my directory for my entire family. You won't find a more caring, considerate and friendly chiropractor around. He is so friendly with his patients (young & old) and a wonderful family man. His staff is courteous and puts you in a room almost immediately. My insurance has changed a couple times since 2004 and each time it's been accepted by Sunland Chiropractic Center. read more

Great chiropractor, great person. And he always treats his clients with kindness, gentleness and respect. You can't go wrong here. Been seeing him for many years now and there is no one on this planet I would let correct and crack my neck and a lower lumbar but him. Give him a try. See for yourself. read more

I threw my back out on Monday, lifted some boxes Tuesday and felt something in my back just contract. I could barely walk and had shooting pains down my legs. I left work early, called the nearest chiro - who, fortunately for me, happened to be them - and spoke with Candy, who was super nice and professional and who got me in to see Dr. Chapman within 5 minutes of the call. He was super nice and gave me an adjustment which gave me some much needed relief for my pinched nerve. After a night of sleep and a cold compress, as recommended by Dr. Chapman, I feel soooo much better today. I can't even believe it. All in all, a perfect experience. Prices are decent, Candy at the front desk has superb customer service skills ad Dr. Chapman did his job oh so well. Thank you!! I will be back. read more

What a great place! Dr Chapman is amazing!! He is nice and professional. Great staff! They work miracles! I highly recommend them!!

Still providing exceptional service. I don't have to go back as often since he does such a great job on my back. It's comforting to know that I have great chiropractor when my back acts up. Candy's (the receptionist) is efficient, friendly and always helpful. read more

Friendly, fast help when you need it. I called them at 4:00 and was in the office at 4:15. Candy was professional and empathetic. Dr. Chapman was friendly, knowledgeable and spent enough time with me to diagnose and treat the problem. As with all back problems, there is no quick fix but I will certainly go back if I need more help. read more

Whenever I need to see Dr. Chapman, I can always call that day and get right in. Everyone there is super friendly and willing to do what they can to help me out. I like the neighborhood feel and the personal attention I get there. read more

Doctor Chapman is a great doctor! He is well knowledged and I always feel like a million dollars after an adjustment. Very friendly and caring staff. The exam rooms are spacious. They accept insurance. Your not going to find a better chiropractor in the area! Check out their website: www.sunlandchiropractic.com read more

The staff is great and they treat you nicely when you get there. They saw me the same day when I had some severe back pain and helped me out. My only reason that I didn't go 5 stars was because you see the actual Dr for about 5 minutes or less. No real one on one talk time. But that's just because he takes as many people as possible at the same time. I've gone back multiple times since then. read more

Doctor Chapman is an absolute delight,so friendly and always remembers our previous conversations and we pick up right where we left off. He had no problem working with me on the price when I was going through a really rough patch. Thanks doc and keep up the great work!!! read more

Very nice people but his technique did not work for me at all. Ive actually had more trouble with my neck since having seen him.

I had a great experience with Dr. Chapman! In three visits, my issues were resolved. I had never seen a chiropractor before and was a bit nervous, but he made me feel comfortable. I was skeptical of chiropractic work before, but now I'm a believer! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Dr. Chapman! read more

Dr Chapman is AWESOME ! Everyone is so nice there ! I think I've died and gone to heaven !

I finished treatment back on 04/04/14 and it is now 06/03/14 and this office has not completed any final reports. What's worse is instead of them keeping me in the loop I always have to call them and see what's going on. I am NOT one to complain but I cannot let this go. There was some "technical issues" with their computer system but the communication is horrible and it shouldn't have taken more then a one month max to get this done. Patient service is good when you are going, after treatment it turns to zero!!!! The last time I called I was told by the receptionist that she was sure I didn't want to hear any more excuses, maybe because that's all I get every time I call. I'm super disappointed. I work in healthcare and this would 100% not be tolerated. read more

when I first hurt my back I called Dr Chapman's office and the staff got me in right away. I was in such pain I could not even stand straight up .After my 1st treatment I felt better already. This was my 4th treatment today and Dr says I don't need to come back for 2 weeks unless I have pain. Now I can do my yoga and bike riding without pain. I have have been to other Chiropractor's that were not so honest and tried to push unnecessary cost in there therapy. Thank you Dr Chapman for making me feel normal again! read more

I struggled with sciatica and shoulder problems for years. I saw many doctors even a sports injury doctor and a neurologist . The pain became so bad i was afraid I was going to be crippled. After four visits Dr Chapman had me walking and after 6 I was running for the first time in years. I have had no problems since. I have been back maybe 2 times in the past three years for maintenance adjustments. Dr. Chapman was born to do what he does. He is the best and I am absolutely sure I am walking and running and pain free solely because of him. I would and do recommend him to anyone struggling with chronic pain. read more
