I was impressed with the selection of frames to choose from at Clearsight! It was so convenient to…read moretake my prescription from Dr. Schwartz to Clearsight, as they are in the same building. My prescription for glasses is very high, so I needed a frame that would help hide the thickness of the lenses & support the thick lenses as well. Two employees picked out a few frames that they felt would work well with my high prescription and then gave their input about which looked best. They made the process so easy! I had questions about the materials they would use to make my lenses & some additional features I wanted to add to the lenses, and they were able to ask the optician directly, which was great. This was SO much better than other places that ship the frames to large optical labs, then ship them back when done. The opticians who create the lenses are on-site at Clearsight and it only took about 5 days to get my glasses vs. over 2 weeks at other places that ship the frames to the big optical labs. The glasses were crafted perfectly and I can't thank everyone who helped me enough, especially the optician who made the lenses. This was the easiest and most pleasant experience I've ever had when getting new frames & lenses!

Danny, one of the owners and Dayana in sales were patient and explained Hip Optical as a company that owns its frames, has its own laboratory, and can produce glasses in 48-72 hours. I was given a promotional rate that includes the frame, progressive glasses, and for an additional fee, transition lenses. I got one pair of glasses for one half of what I paid at Target Optical. The stylish glasses were ready quickly, like 48 hours. The eyeglasses look great. I have not had any problems. I went back and my wife bought eyeglasses too. I recommend Hip Optical.

This is really the way to go- I've tried on glasses with other online companies that "float" the glasses on your face- this service is so much better. I was later told another brand had been ordered, only to find out that those contacts were unavailable as well. For over a month, I have been trying to obtain the prescription I paid for. I contacted the call center, left multiple messages for the store, and never received a callback. When I finally returned to the store, I was told the doctor could not release my prescription until I tried the contacts--even though I no longer want them and only want the prescription I paid for. This entire process has been unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. Customers should be informed promptly when products are unavailable and should not have to repeatedly chase the store for answers. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.
