I went in today to have a brand new pair of Rayban's I had just purchased in Vegas shaped for my face. This is my second pair of the carbon fiber Rayban's, my first pair was purchased around 2015-2016 and I have loved and worn them almost every day since. And they are the exact same size except the lenses are a tiny bit bigger in the new ones. (I think her name was Natalie) was the only one on the sales floor and I was the only customer so I had all her attention. She was so friendly and has great communication skills. Where she REALLY shined though was the shaping of the glasses which she did with such ease and was meticulous in regards to them sitting straight on my face ! I couldn't be happier and if I happen to have any issues it's a free service and come back as many times as I need. It's been a long time coming to share this, but every visit I've had to the Sunglass Hut in Brentwood has been disappointing -- and my family and friends have had similar experiences. The General Manager is consistently sarcastic and dismissive, and doesn't demonstrate basic customer service or a willingness to help. This doesn't reflect the standards of someone who should be running a retail store. By contrast, the Walnut Creek location has always gone above and beyond, and I'm willing to drive the extra 30 minutes to shop there instead. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Brentwood store based on repeated negative experiences. read more

Service was poor. Asked to check out some glasses that weren't on display but in stock, apparently they couldn't open it because it's a "new box". Online says otherwise, and as they grab another set of glasses that weren't on display for another customer to try on. I've always loved Sunglasses before I began working for the company and l have a huge collection.However I've only been to this location twice and every time has been utterly unpleasant. I was recently refused service and discriminated against at this location with my proof of purchase and receipts on hand. I find it really offensive and unfortunate .......... They contacted my supervisor's boss and blatantly defamed my character....... I spoke with her briefly ..... I will not be returning to this location ever again. I will not be making any more purchases with Sun glass hut because of this incident they don't deserve my business and all of my most recent purchases. l will be returning ASAP because of this experience. Their return/exchange no hassle policy is a joke. I went to exchange a pair of sunglasses and the women there told me there were dots on them and they could give me 50% of what I paid. If there were any "dots" they were sold to me that way. Never mind that the other woman was "cleaning" my glasses with a filthy rag, I could literally see brown on this silver cloth. They stayed in the case after I wore them once. Instead of making a big deal about it in the store I left. Went outside to look at the glasses in the sunlight. Dots... more like dust. They were crooked and the lenses had a knick on them. He took them back to get adjusted. Then he brought them home, still DIDNT FIT. Two days later, we went to the store to return them and they wouldn't! They said because of the lenses! They sold them to us like that! I even asked if they could exchange them out for the same pair. They said no because they cannot return to Coach??? Makes no sense since they're a worldwide company that sells Gucci Versace and can't give me back a $200 credit. *eye roll* I even asked if I bought a different pair that was $50-$100 more. Alexis greeted us and was so kind with helping us pick out glasses for our upcoming trip. She gave us great advice and gave us similar pairs of glasses to help us pick out the perfect pair! When we found the ones we liked she asked if they fit properly or if we would like them to be tighter. The 1 star rating is for the representative, Enrique. A few days ago, I purchased a pair of glasses for myself and got my 3 yr old a pair of ray ban glasses. When I put them on her I noticed it was too big for her but had already left the store. Also my glasses were a bit loose. I went in today to return my daughters glasses and to tighten mine. Enrique examined the glasses for a good 60 seconds and then told me he can't return them bc it was scratched. Which was bs bc my daughter didn't even wear them. (The glasses were a floor model so it could have been preexisting) I spoke with manager Krystal who was very kind and she okayed the return. So Enrique returns my daughters glasses (whilst having an attitude) then when I said don't forget to tighten mine he tells me I have to get back in line!!! This was unbelievable to me!!! How are you going to make me get back in line when you haven't finished helping me?!! He said if I want immediate assistance I can go through LensCrafters across the way. I went in knowing I needed to purchase a pair of sunglasses, since it was a last minute gift. With that being said, if it wasn't a last minute gift I never would have purchased anything from here. There were 3 employees in the store and not one took the time to help me. A guy walks in after me and for some reason they were able to help him out. Today Sunglass Hut made our day! My son received a pair of Oakley Sunglasses as a Christmas gift from his girlfriend that were purchased at the Brentwood location. He loved them! Unfortunately, on his way back to college, a man swiped them from the bin while he was going through airport security. It was caught on camera and security did the best they could to find the thief but they couldn't get them back. So his favorite gift was gone within two days of receiving it. He was really bummed. We decided to replace them for him so his girlfriend's mom went back to the store, showed the receipt for the glasses, and told the manager the story. The manager offered the sale price to us (which was what she paid originally and now they were $120 more) and shipped them directly to him at school FOR FREE. We were SO pleased! And he is SO thrilled to be getting his glasses back. I will be coming into the store shortly to purchase some new sunglasses JUST because of what you guys did for him. Originally this store sold me a pair of crooked sunglasses. I went to two other sunglass huts in an attempt to get them fixed. They all told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to go back to the original location: I went to this location again and the supervisor Katie fixed them for me in under two minutes with no problem!
