Took my time trying to get cute pictures. Soo helped just standing by the fence as the goats really liked him. Walking towards the stand I noticed the rows of striking flowers and tomatoes. Inside it was air conditioned on a hot May day. The paintings of the sunflowers really caught my eye, beautiful. They sell a variety of things including: honey, nuts, local produce and souvenirs. I enjoyed the sunflower honey. Great place to stop on your way to Kings Canyon National Park or Cat Haven. If I lived in the area I'd make a habit to stop by on a regular basis. read more

With all of the fall activities there is to do make sure you have the Sunflower Farm Stand on your top 5 if you have kids. The stand is located right off the highway in Sanger. You can't miss it! It was not too busy when we got there so there was plenty of parking. When you arrive you may freely walk into the farm and look at what they've got going on. I'm writing this in October, 2025 and the sunflowers we're growing and some were on the way out. There was a wonderful corn maze that is mainly for small children. It is attached to the pumpkin patch where the pumpkins are reasonably priced. there are a few varieties to choose from. in the pumpkin patch is the cutest little photo opp. there are a few of those around the farm. there is a fruit stand with tables and a store you can walk into to buy fresh and dried fruit. there is also merch and drinks. The cashier was friendly and helpful. we walked around and saw their goats who they call the "dutch bros" which i thought was so cute. you can feed the goats for a fee. i think it was $5? they also had a few games set up for the kids to play. visiting the stand made for a day of fun! being that it is so close to the kings river, we stopped there on the way back home. it was a great day! read more

The stand is small, not much parking, and small drive way. They were quick to respond to me on social media, that is 1 of the stars. We went around 230pm on a Satrday from Visalia to get one of the black magic watermelons, but after that long drive, they were sold out. I guess they do not grow them (since they can't just get more from the field). I suggest you do not waste gas if you are coming in the afternoon, as they are sold out of stuff. Also the fruit is a little on the pricey side. You pay premium for fresh I suppose. We got some kiwis, that were good, oranges that were not real sweet but ok, great nectarines, good plums. We were coming from Visalia and live all the way in north west Fresno so this was the one shot to make a great impression, and unfortunately, they did not deliver a reason for us to go back. They seemed nice, but overwhelmed, as they said this was the most traffic they have seen. Maybe don't promote items on social media if you do not have the supply to keep up. Maybe after you get a larger truckload of watermelons, then put it out. It is far out and the price of gas to get out there and support this stand only to come away without your whole purpose for going really stinks. As I said, this was our only visit so good luck and maybe you will be fortunate to get what you go for. We have a stands that are closer and if they don't have it on the shelf, they will usually go to the field and get it. But that is more for the stands that grow their own products. read more

Had a great time at the Sunflower Farm Stand today. There were lots of families having fun with the hay ride fames. Pumpkin patch and sunflower cuttings. There's plenty of fruits to buy.land homemade jams. Pies and craft items by local artist. The staff is really nice the place is clean with vegetables and fruits look ripe and ready to eat, the grounds look clean and well kept the store is cute. Clean and well organized. Such a nice pumpkin patch and sunflower field! I was looking for a pumpkin patch to take my son to I decided on Sunflower Farm Stand, I'm so glad I ended up coming here. It was pretty packed since it was a weekend but everything still went really fast! They have a corn maze, pumpkin launch, hay ride, goat feeding, a few different games and a bounce house. There are so many places you can take pictures here. There is a fruit stand the shop inside has a wide variety of baked goods and snacks. You can also pick your own sunflower! Near the edge of town I noticed Sunflower Farm Stand. It was the most fancy roadside stand I saw in Fresno. The guy in charge of the stand was very friendly and knowledgeable about the fruit for sale. I bought a basket of cherries and some apricots. Cherries were full of sweet cherry flavor. Plump and juicy they were the best cherries I found in Fresno. Apricots were plump, juicy, and full of sweet apricot flavor. Among the best apricots I've come across. In San Diego I have to plan in order to get fresh produce at a local Farmers Market. In Fresno there are lots of farms and some roadside stands that sell fresh produce. Next time we are in Fresno I'm gonna make sure to stop at Sunflower Farm Stand to buy some delicious fruit and check out other farm stands selling local honey. read more

Great parking, fun refreshing ambiance. We stopped here on the way back from parts Eastward as my friend wanted specifically melon and cherries. Which they did have! This is such a great little roadside stand. They even have I think a petting zoo area? The parking is great. There's plenty of parking and they have laid down a lot of little wood chips, so you don't get a lot of dust when you roll in with your car. There are huge sunflower posts outside so you certainly can't miss it on the corner of 180 and Reed Avenue. There's also a stoplight there and it makes it really easy to pull in. The staff are super friendly and greet you. There's a welcome sign out front. Most of the fruit is all outdoors. They have a u-pick area for whatever is in season and also flowers. Because it's the Sunflower farm they sell, well, sunflowers! When you go inside the little shop, there's an array of fruits that need to be kept cold like the cherries and strawberries and blueberries. Right now middle of August figs are in season. So those were available five dollars a box. They also had plenty of art on the walls that a local artist does, digital and oil paints. Some of the home decor items were on sale. Look for a purple tag. In addition, they also sell homemade jams and jellies in pint size jars. They have honey. And finally what I thought was truly unique is that they sell about six different varieties of sunflower seeds - big ones, little ones, red ones, etc. Wow, how fantastic is that! read more

Beautiful produce and kind people. My family stopped after coming back from a vacation in Kings Canyon. The produce was all so delicious!! The opal apples and tangelos were as awesome tasting as described! And the packaged goods were so special that we only regret not buying more to take home as gifts. It was a cute little stand, nothing like hillcrest if that is your expectation. It's a simple and sweet stand that has fresh fruit and items to purchase with a small patch of sunflowers and corn to admire. Driving by the fresh fruit and sunflower maze caught my attention. This was a while back, they have a small section where you can park( about maybe 4/5 cars) we got some of their dried nuts. I don't recommend using the pumpkin launcher there. It's dangerous. The elastic is too loose to get the pumpkin to the target and was really disappointing. The pumpkin got only a slight crack so we tried again. It got stuck in the sling after my 12 year old son let go and launched straight into his chest. He will have a bruise. If it had hit his nose it would have broken it. If it hit his eye it would have been really bad. I let the people in the store know. They said "sorry". The corn in the "maze" was belly high and it was more of a path. The place is cute with nice decorations and my kids liked the goats. Fruit is 3.79 per pound read more

This is a cute little stand, and the sunflowers are gorgeous in the fall. It was on my way home, so I thought I'd stop to pick up some strawberries. I saw their berries looked sad and were overpriced compared to other places in the area ($8/basket compared to $4/basket on Manning and Englehart). So I picked up a few pieces of fruit from the front - a couple of nectarines, a peach, a pluot and two apricots... $13.75 for 6 pieces of fruit! So I took them home, expecting some delicious flavors. The apricots were bland. The pluot was pretty good. My husband said the peach was "okay." There are plenty of fruit stands around, so next time I won't be tempted by the convenient location. read more

Loved the Sunflower Farm stand! So quaint and fun for the kids. Tractor rides, trip tip sandwiches, goodies and fresh fruit. The sunflowers were so big and beautiful and they even had some animals that my kids loved. read more
