I would give zero stars if I could - including 1 star in order to leave a review. I usually don't leave reviews, but felt obligated to save others from the experience we had. We trusted them with our home and deeply regret it. At the end of December of 2025, we hired Sunflower Cleaning for a move-out clean of our home before renting it out. We usually do our own cleaning, but due to unforeseen issues, were unable to finish. While the company was initially responsive, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. A little over an hour after they got to our house (around 9am), they sent us an invoice for the full cleaning service. No photos of the completed job were provided, which was the first red flag. We then asked for photos as proof the job was completed. We didn't hear anything until later that evening when we received a handful of photos. From what we could see from the few photos, the house appeared clean, including the floor still being wet. However, from the photos, it was clearly dark outside. Not sure why an invoice was sent in the morning when the photos with cleaning still in process were sent later in the evening. Not sure what would have happened if we had simply paid the invoice upon receipt earlier in the day without asking for proof. Regardless, after sending the few photos they took, they then asked us to pay immediately. While we were hoping to have someone go out to the home the following day to take a look before paying, our household had a miscommunication and the invoice was paid before we could verify the job had been adequately done. The next day, a friend stopped by to check out the house since we were no longer in the area and that is when we discovered the cleaning was subpar, incomplete, and (most significantly) that our stainless steel stove and been badly scratched (see attached). When we confronted the company about the stove damage, they claimed it was already scratched--even though we had before photos showing otherwise (see attached). The individual we spoke to was immediately very defensive. They also claimed they had their own photos as proof but failed to provide them when asked. Additionally, clearly unaware we had already paid, they then demanded we pay them immediately and threatened to sue us and place a lien on our home due to services being rendered and us refusing to pay. While this is actually not an accurate recitation of the law (there is an exception to paying for services when services weren't fully performed and/or property was damaged), the fact that they threatened to file a lawsuit against us and place a lien on our home--despite having damaged our property--was completely inappropriate and a clear intimidation to force us into paying. I also want to note that I have owned stainless steel appliances my entire life and know what type of cleaners to use. So, while future potential customers can take what they want from this review, I have never had an issue with cleaning any of our appliances and have special cleaning products to avoid damaging them. I also feel the attached photos clearly show the scratches as very recent. We shouldn't have paid them before verifying, but we did and when we attempted to stop payment less than 24 hours after making the payment, we discovered the third-party vendor they required us to use made it impossible to stop or dispute the payment through our bank. This is another serious warning for future customers. BofA could do nothing to help us even though the 3rd party vendor was through BofA. Another red flag to allow them to avoid accountability. Further, even though they claimed they offer touch-ups within 24 hours, we did not feel comfortable allowing them back into our home given the unprofessional customer service, lack of accountability, and their apparent failure to understand how to clean stainless steel without using abrasive materials--something any professional cleaning company should know. We ultimately had to spend an additional two hours cleaning ourselves just to make the home rental-ready and were left with over $300 in damages to our new stove. We chose not to pursue small claims only because we were no longer local. In sum, this company demonstrated poor workmanship, zero accountability, intimidation over payment, and questionable billing practices. Would absolutely not recommend. The end of November, 2024, I had Paulina come to my home to give me a price for cleaning a 3 bedroom 2 bath older home. She gave me a price of $200, which I did think was a little high since I had just paid for a deep cleaning about 5 weeks prior. That company was the best cleaning I had ever had, and fully intended to have them back every two weeks, but they apparently had gone out of business because they did not answer their phone. When Paulina's 2 ladies came to start their work, I recognized one that had been here before, even though she kept ducking her head so that maybe I would not recognize her. Well, I did not realize that I had had this company before and was extremely unhappy. One lady broke a piece out of a brand new, never having been slept in daybed with a trundle. it is very dark colored furniture, so I didn't see the white 1 inch chunk out of it. Had they of told me and not gotten rid of the wood piece, I possible could have glued it back. They took my long handled swifter duster and did a extremely terrible job cleaning. And the lady that tried to conceal herself this time, last time ask me how much Paulina was charging so she could keep the tip. Well this time I gave not tip!!! This second cleaning was so horrible, with too many bad things to mention. As I started looking around, and saw the results of my $200, I called Paulina, left a message, but no return call. In fact my six year granddaughter, came and said Momma, come and look, there is spider webs. One lady was using a swifter duster, and just swiped here and there, so you could see exactly where she had and hadn't got the dust. NEVER again will I let this cleaning service take my money!!!! read more

I used Sunflower Cleaning to do a move out clean and thought $400 for a 3 bedroom house was expensive, but they did a great job. The issue is after three calls over a week and NO RETURN CALL - even when asking to let me know if they have openings when I need the cleaning done. Nothing, nada. After finally getting in touch with them (they actually picked up the phone!) they told me they were busy and didn't want to call me back because they didn't have anything and didn't want to waste my time. Seriously, you wasted a week of my time AS A RETURN CUSTOMER, only to tell me you didn't want to waste my time and then got snippy when I pointed out the absurdness of her statement... then she hung up. I just recently terminated my business relationship with Sunflower Cleaning Service. Overall, they do a slightly better than average job of cleaning my home. On a specific note: I have tile floors and they are always done very well with no streaking. However, they are somewhat careless about being in my home. Things are moved to facilitate cleaning, but never returned to their proper place. That is left for me to do. They have on numerous occasions damaged my property with no thought to repair or replace what has been broken. For example, Paulina recently knocked down a valance for the vertical blinds and left it up to me to replace it. In the last incident, the helper knocked over a decoration in the bathroom, destroying it and damaging the cultured marble tub surround. This was not reported to me until after she was paid and leaving. Paulina's response, as she was walking out the door, was that I could glue it back together. I would not, under any condition or circumstance hire Sunflower Cleaning Service and would strongly advise against hiring them. read more
