Raz is a fantastic communicator and can really push his students to be the best they can be. He meets us all at our own skill level and kindly and with delightful humor pushes us to improve. There are no other schools or teachers around here that I know of that takes an atelier style approach to art instruction. We enjoy having LOTS of time to work on our drawings or paintings- with models that resume the same pose for many weeks. This enables us to take our time and really get it right. Raz patiently helps us to see and compare, his skill is obvious as he directs us. Even though he is a true master, he does not condescend like some instructors I have known. If you are serious about learning the discipline and joy of creating art, I believe that taking classes at ArtWorkSpace is one of the best places on the front range to expand your ability as an artist.
