Stuffed Tomato Chicken Salad.

Adorable little lunch spot. The owner is just sweet as can be. Only two small tables inside. Perfect place to grab and go, too. Hot / Cold Sandwiches, soups, salads, and combos available. Breakfast also served in the morning.

Fresh, delicious sandwiches and kind, pleasant service. I recommend a cold turkey sandwich with everything, plus avocado, on a croissant.

#Lelanded in the morning and drove around to get the feel of the place. Lunchtime hit and seeing…read morethe crowd and the menu, I was sold. AMBIANCE: Parking: No designated parking, just a truck in the middle of downtown so its all street parking, many of them metered. Seating: Outside seating with umbrellas. There's about 4 picnic benches that can fit about 4-8 people. Feels: This is in the heart of Downtown Molokai, so it's relatively a busy place (in a small town way). Look for the trucks and the umbrellas and you're there You're around other spots as well from the Kanemitsu bakery or the grocery stores. The spot itself is really casual. Outdoors with picnic benches. Great for a grab and go or a quick sit before adventuring off. FOOD: Poke Salad (Recommend) A lovely presentation as it was well mixed and organized. The salmon was refreshingly colg with a nice gummy texture. I enjoyed the greens, seaweed, and the mix of spicy mayo sauce. The cherry tomatoes brought a refreshing kick and the cucumber had a good crunchy texture. The masago gave a good crunchy and savory touch to it. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fantastic! Friendly people and quick service. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Deeelicious. The food was refreshing, the portion was right and the price was about right. This place stood out because of its plentiful selections and locations. The name is self-explanatory, for a taste of Molokai, this is your spot. TIPS: * There are two trucks, one for their general food and the other for poke delights.

You know what it means when da plate stay HEAVY???…read more Brah, I going GRINDZ until I fall into a food coma!!! Lol! And that's exactly what happened after going to Mrs. K's Concession in Kaunakakai town. Mrs. K's Concession is a little take out eatery, and it is located smack between the two banks in Kaunakakai - (American Savings Bank & Bank of Hawaii). Ya can't miss it gang! Mr. K's Concession features local style grindz like - plate lunches, burgers & sandwiches, saimin, musubi's, snacks, & desserts. They also do breakfast here. I passed by this little eatery many times over the years whenever I worked on Molokai, but I guess the main reason why I never bothered to check out Mrs. K's Concession is because the lack of signage on the outside of the business. Food here is made fresh when you order it, so expect a little wait. The day I came here, I went with a Chicken Cutlet plate which consisted of two scoops rice, mac salad, & some deep fried chicken with brown gravy all ovah! Happy I ordered that plate, cuz dat plate was Maaaaaaaaaaasive!!! The chicken was deep fried to perfection, and the gravy ovah really hit da spot! After eating dat plate, bruddah man wanted to moi moi under a tree! Lol! Looking for local style comfort food? Give Mrs. K's Concession a try!

The side of rice was a great size and I appreciated the salad option as I'm not a fan of mac cheese. Definitely a food truck to check out!

Fish tacos out of a food truck?…read more Shooooooooots! I go chance 'em!!!! So the best thing you can do for yourself when visiting a place that you're not from is to ask a local on - "where da good kine grindz?" Sure enough, one of my customer's at Bank of Hawaii gave me da scoops on where to go, to check out some ono kine grindages! "Ono Fish and Shrimp" was the place of choice for my afternoon lunch, as you can find this little food truck in Kaunakakai town, just next door to the business - Molokai Fish & Dive. Business hours here are limited, as they are only opened from Monday to Friday from 11: 00 AM to 02:30 PM. They are closed on Saturday & Sunday (see my pic). The menu there is pretty simple, as they offered five different items, and they were - 1. Taco Plate ($12.00), or you can do Ala Carte ($10.00). They do fish or shrimp tacos. 2. Sirloin Steak Plate ($15.00) 3. Fish & Chips Plate ($11.00) 4. Butter Garlic Shrimp Plate ($12.00) 5. Steak & Shrimp Plate ($14.00) I'm not sure if the menu changes from day to day, as my Molokai trip was just a day trip. Upon looking over the menu, I decided on the Taco plate, as I wanted to sample the Fish Tacos with fresh mango salsa. Sound Yummy right? So my Taco Plate consisted of (2) freshly made to order - Fish Tacos (the fish used was Ono, or for you mainland folks - Wahoo), a scoop of white rice, and a green salad. I also bought a bottled water to wash down my meal. What can I say about the Fish Tacos??? Absolutely broke da moufth deeeeeeeeeeeeelicious!!! The fish was cubed, marinated, and grilled perfectly! The fish & mango salsa was folded into a soft shell taco that was slightly grilled. The mango salsa was really mind blowing good!!! I only wished I had a 3rd tacos, but of course overeating will only make me more fatter that I am! Buwahahahahahaha! Folks, although the food was sold out of a food truck, there was covered outside seating in the back area of the food truck. Just a quick tip..........as soon as I opened my food container to get some pics for Yelp, the next thing ya know, I had to compete with the flies!!! Lol! I also had to eat fast to beat down the flies from getting to my meal, so if you don't dig that kinda environment, may I suggest you take your meal back to your hotel, or maybe eat your meal in your rental car? Looking for ono kine grindages???? Check out Ono Fish and Shrimp for their Fish Tacos! Da buggah is Winnah's!!!!
