Unfortunately, the way management handled this situation completely changed our experience. We each paid $300 for a 30 class package that showed a 54 day expiration in the app. In reality, we had roughly two weeks to use all 30 classes because the package was tied to a Summer Challenge ending around Labor Day. After purchasing, we even told two instructors, including the owner, that we were nervous about completing 30 classes in 54 days because we were brand new to Pilates. No one mentioned that we actually had only about two weeks. I don't think a 30 class package should have been sold that close to its deadline without clearly communicating the terms. Even a quick call saying, "This is for a challenge and you only have X days left. Are you still interested?" would have prevented this entire situation. I would have purchased the monthly unlimited membership instead. What disappointed me most was how management handled it afterward. It took over two weeks, unanswered emails, an in person visit, missed follow ups, and finally an Instagram DM just to get a real response. I understand people are busy, but even "we're working on this" would have gone a long way. We weren't asking for a refund or anything free. We even offered to move the unused classes to the next challenge. In the end, Amina offered five class credits, which would have been a nice gesture initially, but after weeks of chasing a resolution, I was too put off to want to use them. We loved the instructors, loved the classes, and I was ready to become a monthly unlimited member. They didn't lose us because of a miscommunication. They lost us because of how management chose to handle it. This is ultimately why Powerhouse lost me as a customer, and unfortunately, I will not be referring anyone to this business. RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT: I appreciate the response, but I think it misses the main point of my review. I never claimed the expiration date didn't exist anywhere. My concern is that the app we were using showed 54 days, and even after we specifically told two instructors, including the owner, that we were nervous about completing 30 classes within those 54 days, no one told us we actually had roughly two weeks. The bigger disappointment was how difficult it was to get anyone to address the situation. As acknowledged in the response, communication could have been better. The five class credits were eventually offered after weeks of following up, and by that point the experience had already changed how I felt about returning. I understand the studio stands behind its terms. I stand behind my review of my experience. Clear communication at the time of purchase, or simply handling the concern promptly and with some understanding, could have prevented all of this.

Infrared Heat Benefits At first I was resistant to the hot sauna aspect of the workout since you already get hot during a workout and I'm already a sweaty lady but now I absolutely love the infrared heat! It really does flush out toxins, is great for your skin, reduces/eliminates soreness that can come with a workout, also relieves pain and stress. I always come out of my workouts feeling great! It's perfect after a long days work, to kick off your day or for a midday pick me up. Workout Sessions I love the variety of workouts which makes for great cross training. The workouts are a variety of HIIT/cardio and isometric/floor exercises. Since they're hot (it's recommended the workouts be in the 120 degree range for optimal effectiveness), the HIIT workout sessions (cycle, blast/elliptical-ish bike, rowing) are only 15 minutes long and they are a little more challenging than a longer workout since they're shorter. The iso's (yoga, stretch, Pilates, core, bands, Barre, buns) are 45 min . I typically do a 45min - 1.5 hr workout combo of the different sessions or a quick 30 min if I'm low on time or energy. The saunas There are about 7 different hot sauna rooms that play on demand virtually instructed videos that run every 15 minutes (HIIT workouts) and every 45 minutes (Isometric workouts). Supplies You're given a mat and towel with your membership, that are specifically designed for the hot sauna and it is the only mat that will work with the saunas' heat. Cost Hotworx is very reasonably priced at $59/mo for one studio location or $79/mo to workout at all Hotworx location, which is nice bc they have locations EVERYWHERE so it is a great way to keep up with your workout if you go out of town. You also get a month free, if you get to 25,000 calories burned within a 3 month period which is tracked through their app.Its very easy to rack up 25,000 if you're going regularly. Booking thru the app You reserve your workouts through the app, which is nice bc you can see if anyone else has also booked a sauna during a particular time. Although, you're welcome to use a sauna without booking if a spot is available. Each sauna holds 3 people. Staff The staff is great and super friendly. I love that they always run to open the front door for everyone. It's especially helpful when I'm struggling, trying to hold my mat, water, towel etc. Side note, you have to use the Hotworx app to buzz yourself in at the entrance. So if you don't have a membership, you can't get into Hotworx outside of regular business hours. Cancelling The only negative about Hotworx is it's one of those places where you have to provide a 30-day written notice to cancel. Luckily for me I don't have any plans to cancel anytime soon.

Only issues I've had has really been with rude patrons, ppl coming in the sauna and keeping the door open while they talk... and being generally rude. However, that's not an everyday thing and it happens everywhere. I really enjoy the classes and the ability to go at my own pace. I absolutely love the ability to schedule and see if a class is full or not before even showing up. I'm a fan so far, and I'm looking forward to using the gym more often. There is also a space for weights, outside the sauna, which is a great change of pace if you want to do something different. Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy working out in the sauna.

They welcomed us in with an actual welcome sign, and got us settled. It's a nice clean studio, or at least it was before I sweated all over it. The class we took was some kind of weights/yoga hybrid, and believe me when I say it was HARD. I couldn't do it all. I had to take breaks. So many squats. So much sweat. I really love that ClassPass is everywhere, because it let me check this place out at a pretty low cost. We'll definitely come back when we're back in town.

Even the non heated classes are challenging depending on the instructor. I love that the classes are not as packed. And I get a really great workout here. Walking in, I received a friendly greeting by what seemed like the owner or manager. He gave me a quick tour of the new facility, and was helpful in answering any questions. Bliss Boutique Fitness offers multiple yoga, cycling, pilates and aerial yoga classes. Don't be shy if you're a beginner, their classes are great whether you're brand new or highly experienced. For the flow yoga class I attended, I believe Haley was the instructor if I remember her name correctly. Her yoga class flowed together really well, and her instructions were clear without being a distraction from your breath. She was able to provide multiple modifications whether you wanted to keep your practice easy or more advanced. I also appreciated that she had already set out mats, towels, and blocks for us to utilize before the class began. I had brought my own mat, but there's was more convenient since it was already ready for us. As far as the facility goes, it's very clean!! The natural lighting really makes the yoga areas zen, and the cycling room had black out curtains to make the strobe lights and music more fun. Restrooms, changing rooms, hand wash station, cubicle type lockers, and shower are all available to use as well. I came here as a classpass user to try this place out, but because I enjoyed it so much, I honestly might become a member! In less then 2 months I've lost close to 10 pounds and have improved in my game a lot. I also feel much better on my day to day life. Now I find myself often "playing bjj" with my kids at home. I'd say that this is a great experience for beginners. An advance "Yogi" may not be that impressed by the activities but I found them easy enough to follow. The instructor was nice and engaging. It was difficult to hear her/follow her at times, again due to the venue size and layout. I will say, you should beware of the goats receiving themselves on you. If that will gross you out, maybe reconsider attending. A girl next to me ended up having goat droppings on her back.

We were never notified of a cancelation or offered a reschedule until after i hunted them down on Facebook. Even then, they responded OVER A MONTH later & still would not offer a refund. They are going to respond to this stating that they don't give refunds for bookings through Eventbrite but that is ridiculous & definitely a cop out for scamming hardworking Americans out of their money. DON'T DO IT, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
