He was accessible by phone (actually returned my call the same day!).. and was over to diagnose and quote the problem in my basement within a few days - because it was not an emergency. He was able to schedule the work quickly and his team (Jean and two other men) were extremely professional, hard working and thorough. I didn't hire them but am leaving a positive review. I had a leak in my basement. When searched Yelp, i got several responses. One company came over and tried to convince me I needed to spend $10k to install a complex waterproofing system even though my house managed 100 years without one. Christian messaged me and diagnosed the likely problem as a likely defect in the wall. He said he didn't do this work but recommended ways I could even fix it myself. I called Christian in order to schedule a time for him to stop by my house to assess and provide an estimate for repairing a leak that we had in our basement. Instead of the three-minute call that I expected, Christian did a 90-min video call with me - for no charge! - guiding me step-by-step through opening my wall and assessing the source of the leak myself. Ultimately, we discovered the source of the leak, which required the services of a plumber instead of a foundation repair specialist. That call saved me hundreds of dollars in assessment fees, allowed me to connect with the right service provider from the get-go while Christian insisted on receiving no compensation in return. Since Christian was not needed to repair our leak I cannot attest to the quality of his work. But I can certainly vouch for his professionalism, generosity, expertise, and kindness and have no doubt that his workmanship matches up. Mr. Sundahl came by my house to look at a basement leak and ran me through all of my options in pretty specific detail. He helped steer me towards the most effective and price conscious option in the end. Amazingly his guidance was to work with another professional altogether because the leak source was our gutters and some light drainage work outside. He was very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and also incredibly honest.
