At 9:30 I got a Text message from her saying that she couldn't show up because she had car trouble. My poor animals were left alone without the ability to go outside to do their business and without food. My animals were abandoned by Leslie Weiss. If Leslie really had car trouble she would have notified me far before 9:30. In addition to not showing up, she made NO ATTEMPT to get a ride to my house. She was hired to take care of my animals, she accepted a check in full payment for that responsibility. She didn't call my husband and I directly, she notified us by Text. She did not say she was sorry. She simply sent a text saying she had car trouble and she would refund our money and she couldn't be there. When you hire a Pet Sitter, what you need most, is for them to be reliable and show up when they say they are going to show up. To send a Text, more than one hour after the time she was suppose to arrive is unexplainable and unacceptable. If she truly had car problems, she would have called way before 8am, knowing that she was due to be there at 8am. Under the extreme conditions of the fact that Leslie Weiss from Premiere Dog Walking left my animals abandoned and did not show up, I asked for a full refund. She refunded only a portion of my payment and she felt she was well deserved to take my money. What we need most from a Pet sitter is First and Far Most, for the person to show up when they say they are going to show up. To not show up, and then to Text and say she had car trouble is completely unacceptable. I can not under any conditions imagine a person that states that she cares for animals committing such an irresponsible crime. Leslie Weiss states on her business card that what makes her different is that she truly cares. If leaving 1 dog and 3 cats unattended and abondoned is her idea of caring for animals, then I hate to see what she would do if she didn't care. Not to mention that I paid 288.00 and was refunded only 192.00. That means I paid Premiere Dog walking service 96.00 to abandon my animals.
