"FOR THE SCOPE, TIME, and PRICE, WE ARE GOING TO WITHDRAW OUR QUOTE and OFFER OF SERVICE". Total red flag. They were going to charge $250.00 to destroy my safe to open it. They charged me less than half of the $250.00 quote from you.

My contractor ordered doors for our rebuild after being debated by flood this past August due to…read moreHurricane Idalia. He was told they would be in today. Now, I'm a reasonable person, but consider people's word to be the MOST important part of a business relationship. In this case, my money - through the contractor - to their word. Well, today Michelle said, although the doors were to be picked up TODAY, that now it could be April 15th. Maybe sooner, maybe later. That is the antithesis of good business practice. I called her myself because she REFUSED to give my money back. She said it was a special order. Now tell me that a millworker company does NOT know that their doors are backordered. They just take the order and then wait to give the sob story that it's not THEIR fault, those darned supplies JUST dried up. Really? I mean, seriously?? We've been screwed by insurance, screwed by the Texas contractor, and now I guess we're in line to get screwed again. As if not having a home since August isn't bad enough. :-( I can 'special order' doors through Home Depot and all of our neighbors have gotten them already. I chose to use a LOCAL company and this is the non-value value we get from them. My advice? Stay away from- stay far away from Al & Sons Millwork. She ended up telling me she didn't want to do business with ME because I called her out on it. She knew I was right, she just chose the alley instead of the high road...

100% RECOMMEND SLIDING DOOR MASTERS!…read more We recently moved to Inverness, and three of our sliding glass doors were jammed and extremely heavy to open. We contacted another company and were told they couldn't repair them and that replacing everything could cost us over $12,000 PER ROOM! We honestly couldn't believe it. Thankfully, I did some more investigating and found Sliding Door Masters. What a difference! I texted the owner, and he responded right away. We scheduled an appointment, they arrived on time, and they did an absolutely AMAZING job. Instead of trying to sell us something we didn't need, they were honest about what could be repaired, charged us a very fair price, and explained everything they were doing every step of the way. What made the experience even better is that the owner works alongside his two sons. All three of them were incredibly professional, polite, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. It was so refreshing to deal with a family-owned business that truly takes pride in its work and treats its customers fairly. In a time when it can be difficult to know who you can trust, Sliding Door Masters earned our trust 100%. They saved us from spending an unbelievable amount of money unnecessarily, and our doors are working beautifully! If you live in Inverness or the surrounding area and need help with your sliding glass doors, I cannot recommend Sliding Door Masters enough. Honest. Reliable. Professional. Fair. And absolutely wonderful to work with. We will recommend them to everyone we know!

It had become very hard to fully open and lock was hard to engage. Decided it was time to call for service, and called Emerson at about 5:00 P.M. His response was he could be at my house between 6:00 and 7:00 P.M. that day to give me an estimate. He arrived about 7:00 P.M. After reviewing my door issues he gave an estimate that we felt was fair, which covered new rollers, cleaning track and lock. He also said he could do it right then. We are extremely pleased with the repair. As his ad shows my double slider opens with one finger push and locks smoothly. Excellent service and I highly recommend.
