Ah the place that started it all. This specific branch is the first branch that they opened and probably the only branch left that is owned by the original owner(s) (the other branches are owned by random franchisees). Up until now, many would flock towards this place(mostly locals) especially after going to church on a Sunday. They haven't changed much since I've been here ever since I can remember. The memories I've had since childhood will always be remembered. The feel/ambiance of it is just that of a classic diner especially with the checkered tablecloths. I usually order the classic (3pcs assorted chicken (you can choose your preferred cut) with potato wedges, coleslaw, and rice) or the prime cuts thigh (3pcs thigh with potato wedges, coleslaw, and rice). The chicken itself is good and flavorful enough without the need for gravy or any sauces but many usually dip it in ketchup or a mix of ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce since it can enhance the flavor. Other than their chicken, they have choices of appetizers and others. Their liver and gizzard, chicken skin, and calamares(fried squid rings) are one of the popular ones. The sotanghon guisado in this specific branch is, in my opinion, better than the ones in other branches. Chop suey is always a crowd favorite if your looking for some veggies to add to your meal. I don't usually order dessert but my aunt usually orders their halo-halo(she likes it). Prices are reasonable but for those with a tight budget, they also offer combo/value meals(comprise of a mix of assorted dishes like chicken, noodles, and vegetables). If given a choice, as much as possible, I probably would prefer eating in this branch rather than the other branches located throughout Cebu but all of the branches are equally as good(it's just a personal preference). read more
