A quick meal to have if your staying in the area. Not the best Cebu has to offer but decent enough. The pricing is great if your American , the dollar goes far here. Spent about 800 pesos for 2 people who each ordered 2 items plus drinks. Friendly service. So if your feeling like some fried chicken, it's pretty juicy here. Dried fish plate. Oreo shake. Not a fan of the noodles, felt watered down and over poured fat brotha. Recommended if your your staying at Horizon. Be careful visiting at night, theirs a club across the street full of "extra" services. Not sure how shady it gets. Also careful crossing the streets !

One of the best chicken places I've ever been to! So tender and juicy. Skin was crisp- just the way it should be. Didn't care for the sides but their chicken is everything! Other entrees were good so no complaints there. They were out of a few of the choices at the time and it wasn't even near closing time. Still, can't stop raving about that chicken.

Every time I visit Cebu, my very first meal is at Sunburst Fried Chicken! The restaurant may look old and tired but it is always crowded. Here, you can enjoy your fried chicken meal with other Filipino dishes like pansit, sizzling bangus or sinigang at affordable prices. For merienda, they offer sandwiches and combo meals. But, honestly, you go here for the Fried Chicken. That's all you need to remember. Fried. Chicken. I always order the Classic chicken meal. It's 3 pieces of delicious, crispy-on-the-outside-juicy-on-the-inside fried chicken and comes complete with rice, thick french fries and coleslaw on the side. All that for only Php178 (3.81USD)! No need for gravy! All you need to do is mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce with a little bit of hot sauce. Also, when you're here, you must order their legendary Crispy Chicken Skin! It's always the very thing that runs out though. So, I usually order the next best thing: Fried Chicken Necks! You'll get a plate of 12 pieces with potato chips. YUM! When in Cebu, eat here and you will not go to KFC or even Jollibee. They are the BEST place for Fried Chicken in Cebu! Tip: Don't be shy! Use your hands to eat ever bit of chicken. ;)

There is something about their chicken's crispy coating and juicy meat that makes it one of the best fried chicken you probably will taste in your lifetime.

But in the Philippine BonChon is Fish & Chips or calamari with plain white rice, the the chicken is full size pieces in order to compete with Jollibee and McDonald's. The Fish & Chips will make your mouth water! It really is such a delicious meal for a pretty small amount of pesos. Their fish is tasty, crispy and best of all, spicy! Don't get me wrong, their fried chicken is also pretty good, and comes in the same flavors you used too, Soy Garlic, Spicy, Honey Citrus, or Crunchy Garlic, all which taste great. In the States, two pieces of fried chicken just isn't enough because because of size but here it is. You can order the other dishes of BonChon, their Chapchae, Fish Tacos I hear it is really good, Chicken Sandwich, Bulgogi Noodle Soup, and their sweet potato fries.

The price is average for a sit down restaurant found in a mall. The location in Ayala Mall Cebu was great. You can sit inside or outside. Outside, you get a good view of the park in Ayala Mall, it is in the higher floor and at night it is breezy. Inside, you get the air conditioning. During Christmas time, they have dancing lights at the park. We ordered the palabok, bangus sisig and garlic rice. The palabok was very saucy. It was a bit salty and did not have that much ground pork on top, it also lacked the chicharon. However, the size was great and can fill you up. You can sprinkle the calamansi on top of the palabok to cut down on the saltiness. The bangus sisig was a bit salty as well, but that's where the rice comes in. It comes on a sizzling plate, which is a nice sight to behold. The garlic rice is a great alternative to plain rice. If you just wanna chill and have a snack, they have bucket beer specials. This would go great with their pork sisig, which is apparently one of their bestsellers.

I have been to more than a dozen since I arrive from Chicago last month. We came for an early dinner, all 12 in my family, so the place was not yet busy. The servers were attentive and friendly. The servings were smaller thant the Gerry's grill in the U.S., but prices were decent. Most of the food was delicious, but the sisig was not quite authentic. Their spicy Oriental Tuna Sashimi (poke) bowl was divine.. We ordered a lot because we want to sample dishes that we might order again when we come back. We ordered pancit bihon, that never came, which was fine, because we were already full. I don't know if they the server forgot to write it down, or maybe it was an oversight in the kitchen, but it did not appear on our bill. I shall return.
