You can receive your CSA goodies on a weekly or biweekly basis. There is also an option for a flexible share (you get to choose the items) or Farmer's Choice which is where the farm chooses the items (this is less expensive). You do not have to be a CSA member to get food from Aspen Moon. Their food stand is open Tuesday through Friday. They also sell their food at the Longmont and Boulder farmer's markets. They carry delicious vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, carrots, beets, lettuce mix which is better than any I have had at the grocery store and it lasts so much longer, herbs, flowers + much more. They also occasionally carry fruit such as peaches and cherries from the Western Slope. They will also at times sell food from other businesses such as goat cheese, pasta and bread. They carry starter plants at the beginning of the season. I pick up my veggies at the Hygiene location. There is free parking. The staff has always been so friendly.

The main produce vendor does a fill up a bag for 10 bucks. This alone makes the market worth it for our family. The produce is extremely fresh some of it even needs some extra scrubbing to get the dirt off! This summer we've been able to pick up a variety of veges from potatoes, garlic, green beans, broccoli, carrots, squashes, corn and lettuces. You can really load up the 5 lb bag that they supply. Usually they even throw in some extra stuff too! Typically, they'll have some local music playing if the weather is nice and it usually is. Some of the other vendors include bread, meat, chilies, sangria and a few other interesting selections. Each time I've been they have a couple food trucks and some other eatery options as well. They have a tent where people gather to snack on some fresh goods. Overall, good local market and you can really make out well getting the 10 dollar deal from the produce vendor.

I had to take them home and use dish soap, water and a dish rag to scrub the chemical-tasting stuff off the tomatoes. No Pesticides????? Makes me wonder . . . wonder a lot. Otherwise, I like their garlic that they sell. It's a fact that insects don't like to eat garlic, so definitely did not find anything other than garlic taste on this garlic.

My neighbor knocked on my door the other day and said Mrs. Miller accidentally delivered my CSA box to my her doorstep. When I emailed Miller Farms, I received a response from Mrs. Miller herself asserting that, instead of taking responsibility for her mistake, she 1.) definitely delivered to the correct address and 2.) my neighbor definitely had stolen my box from my doorstep. WHAT? When I asked my very confused but honest neighbor about this, she came over with my delivery box, cash for the vegetables she had taken out of the box (because she thought her church had delivered vegetables to her), and a Ring camera recording of Mrs. Miller walking away from her door. Mistakes happen and are forgivable, but partaking in actions and words that endanger the bonds between neighbors is unconscionable behavior. Don't give these people your money - there are better farms and more honest folks out there.
