I went back to this office to talk about it and they said it was normal... fast forward a few additional months my gums had receded to the point where you could see the metal screw and my gums were purple. After revisiting the office again, it was clear they had no idea how to fix this so I went to a Periodontist in Manhattan. He was in shock at how poorly my implant was done. the angle of the screw was incorrectly angled outward on top of there being so much cement under my gums which definitely caused the constant irritation. It has now been four years since my dental implant failed and I had to restart the process. Thankfully my periodontist has fixed it, and I have not had any issues for the past four years besides trauma from my experience and neglect at Champagne Smiles. Fixing Dr. Champagnes mistake cost me 12K on top of what I paid for the first implant done by him. PLEASE think again before going here.
