Long story short, after 4 months, they increased the rent by $100. When I asked for a guarantee in writing she said I didn't need it. Stupid me. Oh, when I moved in (Plainfield location) there was a terrible odor of mold. I noticed Over My Space a patch in the ceiling as well as a dehumidifier. It was the only large space & I had a huge truck, so I took it. I recently went in to find my boxes knocked over, some tops crushed and new waterproofing down the back wall. Someone had clearly walked along the top screen of the unit, it was bent, knocked my things over to get to the affected area. Liz is denying everything and saying whatever happened has nothing to do with them and sent me an insurance form. Yeah, I'm seriously angry. Things happen, but have the elementary courtesy to own them and deal with whatever needs to be done! Don't store here !!

Very bad experience with Millennial Moving Solutions. They stored then transported the contents of…read moreour old home to our new home. They damaged several antique pieces of furniture - they broke off pieces of carved wood trim and lost the pieces, which are irreplaceable. They broke in half an antique item that was marked as high value and they were supposed to crate and protect. They put number stickers on prominent places on wood finishes (including antiques) - not the kind of stickers movers usually use and are easy to peel off, but stickers that are very difficult to remove without damaging finishes. They delivered with our furniture several large items of furniture and boxes that did not belong to us - so someone else's furniture was shipped 600 miles away to the wrong address. Millennial took no responsibility for the damage to our furniture, and did not return calls or emails about these issues. (The only time they answered a call was when I intentionally called from an area code and number they didn't recognize.) Completely irresponsible and unprofessional. (I would give them zero stars if I could.) I am not the type to write negative reviews, but because they failed to address, or even acknowledge, the significant problems they created, this is the only option I have left.
