I have been coming to Faux Finish every week for almost 3 years now because of the quality of their work, the products that they use and the fact that the tan is personalized for your skin type/color/condition. I refer everyone I know to Faux Finish! All of the spray tans are organic and vegan and won't dry out your skin, plus they have additives like scents and anti-aging/slimming for an extra boost! Not only do I love them but I love that they really care about each client and want you to have the best possible experience. For example, if you accidentally spill something on your tan or get caught in the rain on the way home they will fix it for you immediately and every tan comes with a free touch up! So if your face is starting to fade on day 3 because of your acne face wash or a recent facial, they will respray your face to match the rest of your body so that it all fades evenly. They also offer airbrush makeup- which I highly recommend for big events, body treatments-like wraps and scrubs, as well as "Fauxtography" for all milestones as well as head shots. Check em out, you wont be disappointed!

Kenzie and Rebecca truly do it right and think of every little detail. I've booked a tan for myself and a tan party with some friends at my apartment... I'm hooked. I LOVE that they are mobile and can just come to me. The best part truly is the tan itself. They are perfectionists and I've never had a more natural looking spray. They also give so many tips and advice on how to prep and maintain my tan so it lasts and fades evenly. Will be calling them for all of my events, and when I just want a feel good glow. Could not recommend them enough.

It was actually my first ever spray tan, and Rebecca was extremely informative, thorough, and made me feel very comfortable through the entire process by checking in before, talking me through everything during, and checking in after. I was also a bit of a special case because I am on accutane so my skin is extra dry and sensitive, and reacts to the solution differently than it normally would. She was extremely thoughtful in customizing the solution she did for me, and following up on aftercare to make sure it turned out beautifully.

When walking in I was not greeted by the receptionist and waited a couple minutes until she had finished her side conversation, still she never said hello or welcome which made things feel not inviting. I arrived to my 5pm appointment a couple minutes early but was not taken into the back until 5:30pm. I don't think Heather noticed she was running late as there was a client before me. My facial by Heather was amazing. She truly is great at what she does. My face was glowing and extremely clean and soft afterwards. The only down side was that I paid for a 90 min facial but only received a little over 60 mins. Again I don't think Heather knew she was running late from the beginning which would have made up for the last 30 mins. The Brazilian was as painless as possible and quick! It took 10 mins at most. Heather makes conversation the entire time which takes your mind off of the pain. Overall I would return. I loved the services. The issues I had were minimal and can easily be fixed. The front desk employee can learn better customer service since she is the face of the salon and the first and last person the client sees and the services can be timed/scheduled better so clients aren't waiting past their scheduled appointment time and there is still time for the rooms to be re-prepped/sanitized.

But what you will find is two friendly and welcoming women building a business from the ground up in an office building space. They offer services you won't find many places in Louisville. The Yoni steam and Vajacial are two of my personal faves. But what initially brought my interest was a Brazilian wax. Best wax experience AND results I've ever had. You're welcomed with all smiles and the down low on the services provided with Amara, the receptionist. The services are provided by Heather- she also creates some of her products she uses and sells (which she can hardly keep enough supply before it runs out!) These ladies are so down to earth and personable. Just their vibes alone make this business stand out.

It soaks into my pores and leaves weird dots, can run, and is never precise or long lasting. This is the absolute opposite at Sunjunkie. Ashley is personable, fun, and never makes you feel weird (even when you are standing there with nothing on!) She makes the experience easy and is very professional. she customizes your tan by applying it herself with what I can best describe as a giant airbrush. She contours your body and makes sure it is perfect, and even dries you herself. her instructions for upkeep are clear and my tan always lasts at least a week, if not more. I can not recommend Ashley highly enough, and er prices really beat out those other chains who don't have such a personal and customized experience. I get tans for events generally, but since going to Ashely I got them more often just because it was worth it and the price was low enough to where I could do that just to help me feel better about the skin I am in!
