Location is a hole in the wall, not to get it confused with the Cartex business next door. My boyfriend and I actually made the mistake in parking near Cartex and going into their office only to be directed to the small garage right next door to them! Phuong had noticed our car driving in immediately and greeted us while we were still on the road. We asked for a smog test and he took us in immediately! He did the favor in taking our car into his garage, and showed us to a few seats where we could wait as he assessed our vehicle. Phuong provides amazing, absolutely amazing hospitality, as he kept checking in on us making sure we were comfortable and even offering us a few bottles of water on such a humid day. My boyfriend and I really appreciated his kindness! Smog test in general took at least 10-15 minutes, not including the minutes of conversation we had afterwards. Phuong gave us a complimentary tire check and pump while providing some tips on maintaining the correct tire pressure! As I asked him, I found out he is a one man crew. He was very nice. Helpful and courteous. He added air to my tires, cleared the leaves from my front vents and informed me to have the corrosive taken off my battery from the oil changer but don't unplug otherwise it wipes my computer's memory. On the convenience side, he can submit the smog test online to DMV making it easier for me to complete my registration renewal online.
