I cannot explain how carefully curated your massage experience is with Julia…read more For starters, the space is clean and tranquil. A+ for environment. Before the massage begins, Julia spends time creating a connection with you, asking questions to ensure that you are getting a massage that meets all of your needs...and more. I love deep work, and I also hate it. I'm a baby, but I know that deep tissue work is what my body needs. This was like no other massage I've received before. I felt like she was slowly and methodically peeling away layers of stress, inflammation, tightness, getting down to the core in a way that felt sooo good. By the time she got to my problem areas, she had melted away so many layers that her incredibly deep work felt comfortable and easy. I ALWAYS hurt coming off a massage table, even if it's only for a few minutes. My back and hips tighten up when I lie on my stomach. This was the first massage of my life where I hopped up off the table after it was done, without a hint of pain. I felt like she rolled me back in time by 20 years! The energy work that she incorporates adds an extra level to the bliss...I spent the rest of the day (and the next) in the most amazing mood. It was incredible. If you want a massage from someone who is deeply invested in every aspect of your healing, you NEED to get in here, asap. Unbelievable experience!

Booked one hour foot reflexology after researching on Yelp. Angel Feet has plenty of seats (and…read moretables) and so same day appointments are possible. Availability is important to me as I often access these kinds of services when traveling. The foot soak time (20 minutes) is used for shoulder and neck massage. A bonus. Other customers shared the facility during my hour, nonetheless the environment was quiet, and the massage soothing. I asked for Ken, as one of the reviews suggested, and his hands and energy were strong; his therapeutic approach was apparent. Often, he asked questions about comfort with the pressure, and otherwise -- no chatter. Other reviews indicate that staff will question/challenge a customer who offers too low a tip, but I tend to tip well (20-25%), especially when people help me to do things I cannot do for myself. Foot massage is one of those. So, there was no issue about the tip. The woman working reception was surprised that I knew to request Ken, since I was traveling. But, I do read Yelp reviews thoroughly and carefully. The reviews make choosing so much easier. Angel Feet was definitely worth the money, and foot massage is rare enough to make this a destination. You get to feel better without having to undress! I hope this review helps other people access a therapeutic hour to help ease their days and travels.

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
