Amazing place in Lakewood Ranch! I'm so happy to have a great brewery/restaurant close to home…read morejust like what I was used to where I moved from years ago. Great food, awesome beer selection, and love the vibe! Had the dry rub wings today along with a couple hazy's. Excellent! For those posting negative reviews, I urge you to give them another shot. We were there the night they reopened after Hurricane Milton, as it seems were half Lakewood Ranch! It's an understatement to say they were slammed! They were doing the best they could given the circumstances. Yet there was a table close to us that found fault. Give it a friggin rest people! Everyone is entitled to have an "off day", especially after a Cat 4 hurricane rips through your area! Inner Compass didn't have to reopen as quickly as they did. But they did anyway because they were serving a real need. If people don't see that, then that's on them! I've never had a bad meal there. Yes, occasionally service is slow or less attentive but if you look at the wider picture of what's happening in the moment, there's a real, legitimate reason. People, don't just get stuck in your own bubble and actually take time to observe what's going on around you! In the meantime, I plan to go to Inner Compass as often as I can for my ICB Beer Cheese Burgers and Hazy Boys!

Just beer no food(I showed up late) The table decided to move into the bar area after the meal around 20 mins later after we had already closed all table bills. At the bar ,One gentleman in the group ordered 3 beers and pays cash. The red headed waitress then came over to the bar area after about another 15 mins had passed and said she didn't charge me so she placed a $24 tab to pay. I payed confusingly. As The Bar was closing the group left but before I left the parking lot I checked my banking statements. I Saw the double charge. Walked back in and told them there was a mistake. Their response was "our mistake. Let's correct it." Sound good so far, I even went as far as saying the 24$ tab was the mistake because the time stamp on the processing but the waitress came over and deliberately chose the higher amount to charge me because the tip was higher for her cash out. Smh. I really did like the vibes but that experience is very telling on morals and values. Really did enjoy the beers too..sad.

The brewery is beautiful--inviting, relaxed, and the kind of spot where you immediately want to settle in for another round. Then came the IPAs. We sampled them all, and every pint told a different story. One crashed over you like a salty Gulf Coast wave, bold and full of energy. Another unfolded like a peaceful walk through a pine forest, layered with earthy bitterness and just the right touch of sweetness. No two tasted alike, and that's exactly what made the experience so much fun. The biggest surprise? Every IPA was memorable. We expected good. We found outstanding. Meeting the brewmaster was the icing on the cake. Learning he's a fellow Stone Brewing fan made for a great conversation, and you can taste the passion and creativity in every glass. To everyone at Calusa Brewing--high fives all around. You made fans out of us, and we can't wait to come back for another flight.

All very, very tasty. Bought some home since visitors are coming from NJ! Interior reminded us a bit of Kean brewing in NJ as well as Treehouse in Mass. Will definitely return to catch some music and eat.

We got visited by a friendly(?) local gator which was fun. Tough to find parking nearby so recommend parking wherever you can and walking over. We didn't try a lot of their beers but what we did try was fine but nothing that we thought was memorable. And if you're a brewery, your beers have to standout. It probably is a 3.5 star location. Good for families. Good for spending a good chunk of time in this area. Not necessarily a destination.

Very pleasant, right on the lake with a great view. It was quite windy today, so we sat inside at the bar. Kayla was our Bartender. What a cheerful young lady. Very personable and attentive. As a Brewery, they offer a pretty good selection of beers, along with a full bar. Today, they were out of their Amber, so I ordered their Kolsch. Quite tasty. For food, we ordered the fish-n-chips to share. We weren't very hungry and this was perfect portion to share. AND, it was one of the best fish -n-chips we've had in a long time. Not at all greasy, firm fish and the fries were over the top !! Crispy outside and soft, fluffy inside. Coleslaw was flavorful with a lean towards vinegar, Not heavy mayo like in some places. Very tasty. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stop again the next time we are close to that area.

We chose to sit in the inside bar because there was air-conditioning. The warehouse area gets a little hot and stuffy, but on nice nights or on cooler days they have tons of outdoor seating as well. We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

I had the mini hot dogs from the kids menu and I really enjoyed the white cheese to dip them into. I really enjoyed the live music and there are board games. Staff were polite, helpful, and kind. The one thing that really bothered me was the fact that there are signs advising that dogs are not allowed inside because of the food licensing regulations and should be outside at the picnic tables. I deadass counted 5 dogs in the bar area in the 2/3 hours my group was there. There was a man with a FRENCHIE sitting at the bar. The dog was in the CHAIR at the BAR. That really annoyed me because if the staff is not following a food safety rule, what else are they cutting corners on? I was sitting at the bar earlier, I don't want to sit on dirty dog feet/butt on the chair.
