Called in here for lunch on Easter Monday - very busy but a nice, friendly atmosphere.
There's an extensive menu, all reasonably priced. We noticed a decent range of veggie options too, which is probably quite unusual for a pub sunday lunch menu.
The food itself was ok. Garlic bread was frozen supermarket stylee, but the main courses were homemade and nicely presented. Homemade desserts too - my white chocolate cheesecake was gorgeous, but the 'Easter bread and butter pudding' special was a soggy currant bun in a bowl :/
So food maybe a little hit and miss, but on probably one of the busiest days of the year. We'd give them another try :) read more
