The man here gave me a massage on my neck and shoulders. When the massage was over I was laying on my stomach and as he walked away he tickled the center palm of my hand. (Insinuating the gesture he would like to ****) .. there's other reviews on Google and Yelp from women that he's groped them, touches them in inappropriate places. I'm not sure why this place is still running and risking a sexual harassment lawsuit bc of this employee. Also, he asked for a tip after the massage.. I went to this place to get a massage in the massage chair. The man who assisted me told me the chair was broken because he wanted to upsell me on a full body massage. Then after telling him several times I wanted a chair massage he made me sit on the "broken" chair. While massaging my neck, he pressed down too hard and now I have a bruise. I feel like these are veteran masseurs as the man knew my problem areas and really worked to ease the tension in my shoulders and lower back. I felt my body really relax which was nice. I'm very happy with the quality of service at this humble mom and pop. I also like the addition of warm oil for back massage and that they use lotion for your feet. Liu was amazing!!! This place is a hidden little gem. Combination foot massage and body massage brought me back to life; $46 for 70 minutes and I left a $15 tip because that's how good it was! This is not a place for someone looking for the Burke Williams experience or anything close to it. It's a hole in the wall spot that to come to for a no frills massage that will leave you floating. I went to this place because it was local and affordable. But when I got there I chose the foot and body massage, and they wanted me to pay up front. A lady did my foot massage, but I didn't feel like she was kneading my muscles. Then, she did my back. The back massage also had no kneading. It seemed like she was just spreading oil on my back. The man came later and did seem like he had stronger hands, but he also just spread oil on my back. When he finished and I got up to leave he made sure to stand by the cashier to witness his tip. The total was $46.00 because I got the foot and body massage and paid with a credit card, so I figured the tip could be 10%. I wrote $5.00 as a tip, and with the little English that he spoke, he said that he deserves better because he gave me a hot stone massage. Then I tipped him $10.00 and left. The next weekend I went to a more professional massage place in the Westside and discovered that what I got at this massage place was in fact just oiling my back. I went there today with my receipt and spoke with the same man with the strong hands. I got his name and it is Liu. I showed him my receipt and said that I was there to get my money back. He said that he doesn't speak much English and there are only 2 workers there. I then asked for the manager and he said that there is no manager. The good: I recieved an excellent half hour massage. It was so good, in fact, that I paid for an additional half hour. It was easily the best massage Ive ever had in my life. This place is under new ownership and the place is completely remodeled. They charge a dollar fee to use the debit card so bring cash if you want to avoid the fee... If I was giving this place a rating based on the massage only, I would definitely give it a 5 star rating. However, I am giving it a 4 because of two things. 1 is it smells kinda funky when you first one walk in- I'm not sure if it's the incense or... Old carpet smell?? Idk but they should do something about that. My second issue is that not all beds are private so if people walk in, they can see you, which is fine for the foot massage but maybe not body.
