The school's front lawn, planters and school garden are nicely manicured. It's a good inviting place for students and their family. My daughter was in TK (transitional kindergarten) with Mrs. Foley and TA Mrs. Kaelin. These wonderful women have gotten my daughter off to the right start. The TK class is gated off since it's the first building closest to the office and is split with a kinder class. It's near the school garden and front entrance and it's really convenient, trust me. The curriculum is awesome too! They learn lots with choice time, fundamentals, numbers/letters and cooking Friday just to name a few. The school community is inviting and welcoming. What better thing to have than moms and dads working together for their family's education. My daughter will be starting kindergarten soon and I'm confident and secure that Lydiksen Elementary has prepared her and will continue to help her grow as a student and person. Mr. Berg is the principal and good with the kids. There isn't a day my daughter doesn't say hi to him and he always returns the hello with a smile!
