He is THE BEST acupuncturist I have EVER found, and I've been seeing acupuncturists over over 10 years now. He does trigger point acupuncture on me (as well as the more traditional TCM/5 elements style) and has been incredible in releasing my trigger points and providing much relief for my back. For those of you unfamiliar with trigger point acupuncture it is more intense than regular acupuncture because it gets at your trigger points (tight muscular spots) but the release afterwards is ohhh soo good. I'm sure if you don't care for that he won't give trigger point acupuncture to you and just do the more traditional style, but if you have some tight muscular spots that no amount of deep tissue massage can seem to get to (those of you who have this know what I'm talking about!) then HE IS YOUR MAN. After inserting the needles he then spends the entire time in the room with you doing energy balancing work (as opposed to leaving you alone like most acupuncturists do), and then wraps the session up with a massage and some light stretching. sounds amazing no?
