Long review! When it was South Beach, it was great! I…read morebought a package of 14 visits during December. I came in 2 weeks ago to start tanning for summer and was told that it had changed to Zoom Tan. Also, at that time found out they no longer have lay down beds. I tried the "Cage" but couldn't stand being in it. Trust me when I say cage. They are literally small cages that you stand in. I am so upset because now they will not refund my money. I was never told about the change until I physically came to the location 2 weeks ago. Had I known prior to the change that they were changing over to ZOOM with NO beds, I could have used my visits. When I bought my 14 visits at South Beach Tanning it was because I knew they had lay down beds. I did not buy a package of 14 to stand up. Tried speaking with store management and was told there is nothing they could do except to refer me to the customer service email address and phone number. I called the number and was told there is nothing they can do. I then wrote them and was also denied a refund. So these are the reasons for 1 star. If I could give you "ZERO" stars I would. Just crappy!

I only needed the membership for one month and then during the month I paid for, I canceled online. However, after I cancelled online I noticed that it still charged my card so I called customer service the next day and was treated like a piece of trash!! The representative (Katy) insisted that I was lying to her and I didn't cancel when in fact, I did. She stated that there was nothing she could do since I didn't "cancel my membership." I eventually asked to speak to a manager or if she could escalate the call in any way because I refused to speak to someone who doesn't treat a customer with respect and she said that there was nothing she could do. I really wanted to like this company but it's hard when they call their customers liars. If you decide to get a membership here I CAUTION you because you will not be treated well if you ever have to contact customer service. This company has NO regard for their customers what so ever. They are money hungry and can't afford to refund a mere twenty dollars. It's truly sad.

Today, I visited this salon for a full head of highlights with some lowlights. I showed clear…read morereference photos and explained that while I typically receive a bleach and tone, I wanted to add subtle dimension so the grow-out would be softer. I explicitly stated that I still wanted my hair nearly all platinum. After the service was completed and my hair was washed, I immediately mentioned that the color was much darker than expected. I still paid and left because I wanted a second opinion before reacting. When I arrived home, I discovered that bleach had been left on the back of my neck and in my hair, which is unacceptable and concerning from a safety and professionalism standpoint. Upon further inspection, I also realized the final result was significantly darker than my hair was before and did not resemble the photos or description of what I requested. I had specifically asked for the front to remain fully blonde, which it no longer was. I returned to the salon and asked to speak with the owner. I was told she was not present. I explained the issues to another employee, showed the same reference photos again, and pointed out the bleach that had been left on me. I was told the salon does not offer refunds and that someone could redo my hair. I explained that I was not comfortable having the service redone, and I was told they would "wait to see" if the owner responded. While waiting, the employee returned visibly frustrated and stated she "didn't understand what I wanted," despite me calmly reiterating my concerns and showing the photos again. I again requested to speak with the owner directly and asked when she would be available. I was told no--not tomorrow, not later in the week, and not next week--and was informed the salon would be closed for Christmas. I was told I would not be able to speak to the owner at all and should speak to her instead, as she was "like a manager." During this interaction, she dismissed my concern about bleach being left on my skin by saying "that's something that happens." At this point, I felt increasingly uncomfortable due to her tone and behavior. My sister was quietly on the phone for support and did not speak; nevertheless, the employee accused me of involving her and asked me to step outside. I declined because I did not feel comfortable. I was then told I was being combative, which was untrue. Overwhelmed by the hostility and lack of professionalism, I became emotional and began crying. The employee responded by stating she was "done" with me and walked away, leaving me alone and visibly upset in the salon. I have never experienced such unprofessional, dismissive, and hostile behavior in a professional setting--especially one involving chemical services. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Board of Cosmetology and pursuing additional actions as appropriate.

After five months of looking around, I found a place that I went to and was disappointed with the work I got done. I waited a month for the lashes to fall and they wouldn't. I was beginning to think I would stop It wasn't until my hairdresser recommended Blink Beauty Studios that I decided to give lashes one last chance in hopes of finding my new go-to place. I called and made an appointment. It was easy and clear. I got a text confirming the time, date, service, and the name of the person who I was going to see. The first appointment I made was to get my uncomfortable lashes removed. I arrived early and was greeted, checked in and taken care of (I was asked if I wanted a drink). Aysia did my removal and to be honest, it felt like a consultation to get to know me and what my eyes do during and after lash placement. I was asked about my experience with my first lash artist and the second. The more questions I was asked, the more I knew I was working with serious professionals. It felt relaxing to just sit back and let the pros work. The next day, I went back to get my lashes done. I opted for a classic set with Tiffany. She was amazing to me. The lashes I had taken off had been poking my eye whenever I closed them and one of my concerns became Tiffany's. I talked to her about getting irritation under my eyes with the lashes I had them remove and she took the time to listen and was able to tell me the reason for the irritation. She proceeded confidently and I again relaxed knowing I was in great hands. At the end of my appointment, I felt fine, my left eye did water a bit but I had assured her that eye always did. I went home and had no redness whereas, in the previous place, I had redness for about a week and had eye drops in my eyes three times a day to help clear my eyes. I can safely say I have found my lash place and will look no where else. The pricing is great and the quality if OUTSTANDING. I truly recommend you go here if you want your natural lashes to stay healthy while you have beautiful extensions done by professionals.
